Not mad at that at all.

What are the full projected draws for Federer and Djokovic?
Djokovic:
R128: Qualifier
R64: Tsonga
R32: Shapovalov
R16: Medvedev
QF: Nishikori
SF: Zverev
F: Nadal/Federer

Federer:
R128: Istomin (Djokovic slayer)
R64: Qualifier
R32: Monfils
R16: Tsitsipas
QF: Khachanov/RBA/Cilic
SF: Nadal
F: Djokovic/Zverev

who exactly is a threat to him?
Djokovic:
R128: Qualifier
R64: Tsonga
R32: Shapovalov
R16: Medvedev
QF: Nishikori
SF: Zverev
F: Nadal/Federer

The bolded players are dangerous. The first rounds are supposed to be easy, so drawing Tsonga may be a bad time. The equivalent player for Nadal is Struff and Federer is a qualifier. Definitely not easy. Shapo doesn't really matter, but he could deal some damage. Medvedev speaks for himself on how dangerous he's been recently. Nishikori just won a tournament and could tire Novak out if he plays right. Zverev could capitalize on a slightly weaker Djokovic by playing lights out, and Nadal and Federer speak for themselves.

Pretty sure defending champs plays first, so bottom?

Going to be stalking the OOP page to try get tickets for the Murray match, hopefully won't be on Rod Laver.

I'd say strong chance it's on MCA. Rafa and Roger will be the shoe-ins for RLA matches that day.

Djokovic:
R128: Qualifier
R64: Tsonga (what did he do in the last year that terrifies Djokovic??)
R32: Shapovalov
R16: Medvedev (some kid)
QF: Nishikori ( 15-2 H2H Some danger that)
SF: Zverev (injured and wont even make it there)
F: Nadal/Federer (its a final, surely not Anderson right?)

Please take rest after the shock of looking at Djokovic's draw!

Please. You might as well do that to every person in the draw.

Djokovic: Lost Doha QF to Agut of all people. No threat.
Nadal: Injured and bad in AO.
Federer: 37 years old, coming off shock losses in Wimbledon and US Open, can't keep up in BO5.
Zverev: Injured and won't make it.
Anderson: Mentally weak, no match against a Big 3 player.
Cilic: Strong player, also mentally weak. H2H terrible.
Thiem: No chance he makes it. Clay court specialist.
Nishikori: Not a threat because of H2H.
Isner: Just a servebot.

I guess no one in the top 10 is winning, huh?

These guys are dangerous. Probably won't win but they have that dark horse chance. Especially as there is so many of them, they can tire Djokovic out.

Not nervous. Just saying Djokovic isn't gonna be waltzing into any final. The draws are all probably the most fair of the last few slams. None of the 3 pop out to me as significantly more difficult than any other.

All in all, I believe we're in for a treat.

Nadal got a cakewalk to the 4th round (not surprising because he is severely lucky with draws), Djokovic's is tough but doable and Federer's is tough. Djokovic can handle that draw but no playing around and just take care of business. He better be ready to go from round 1. Nadal will have trouble starting in round 4 because Berdych is playing good again. Federer's also gets popping in round 4. He shouldn't have too much trouble with Istomin and Monfils.

What is the more attractive final?

Djokovic v Nadal?

Or

Djokovic v Federer?

Djokovic draw is brutal...no messing around

Think it looks good for him. Tsonga is very far from the man he used to be, Shapovalov is the biggest error machine on tour, Medvedev is extremely dangerous but checks out once Novak goes into Lock Down Mode. Kei is Kei... Zverev is dangerous for Novak, if he makes it to the QF.

Nad's draw seems very comfy. Fed's rough from Tsitsi.

Happy there's a chance for a Fedovic final, but I doubt it will happen. Fred too old for BO5 - but we've said that for some time now :)

Djokovic drew some names but it would be beyond stunning if Tsonga took more than a set from him(and he might be lucky to do that.) Can't really see Medvedev or Shapovalov being a problem either. Nishikori/Zverev? Kei maybe is problematic and it's unlikely Zverev will be there based on past track record.

As long as Novak plays his B game or better, he'll be in the final.

Good opening draw for Rafa, and obviously more difficult toward the end as it should be. I'm not enthused about the possibility of a match with Schwartzman as they have been very taxing on Rafa, so hopefully Edmund prevails. Anderson/Federer/Djokovic will be a tough way to close it out.

I really like Khachanov's chances to go far in this event. He can handle Cilic and we'll see how Old-erer,er Federer is at that time. Could be GOATing, could be ready for an off day. Decent chance Karen catches him at a fortunate time.

Coric:

Darcis - Fucs - Cicci - Thiem

That's a real opportunity, right there, if he plays like he did 6 months ago.

Glad KK is not in Rafas quarter.

KK is flying under the radar for everyone here looks like.

Bet or not to bet?

I bet him at 30/1. I think there's tremendous value there. He'll catch Federer late when there might not be much left in the tank and if Nadal is hurt/out then he might get a real nice path to the final.

Really an amazing draw for Borna in his quarter. He also gets the privilege of being with Zverev who is banged up but Coric seems to own him on any big stage. The bad news is Djokovic would be lurking in any SF and there is no worse matchup for Coric than Novak.
