A fed fan complaining about the crowd, you can't make this up

What a day, you guys have been demoralized

Luckily there's always a consolation prize of Nadal being behind Federer in the Slam count for eternity.

I'm honestly not impressed by Nadal's game at all. Irrespective of the result.

Playing like this, Nadal won't even win a set against Djokovic on Sunday.
It will be like their 2015 scoreline.

It's crazy how much Nadal has declined on clay and in general.

Can’t go after watching this match and the conditions but Djokovic has a chance if the conditions are cloudy and cool. If it’s sunny not much of a chance.

I'm not trying to spar, and I also don't deserve any kudos. Tennis is a great sport, and it's a treat to watch the Big 3 and others. Conditions robbed both of their best today, but there have been some marvelous points and dramatic sets.

well idk how much of it a treat it is when you dont like the type of tennis produced by certain people but sure.

Let them have it. This is Nadal's last win against Federer against 2020 Monte Carlo at least. And if Federer decides to never play on clay again then this is his last win vs Federer ever.

After the FO final:
Exit claydal
Enter gewsdal then... (conveniently)
Enter injurdal

Fixed it for ya fella :)

no one said that nadal is clay goat for a reason but fed could have made it a bit more competitive than it is right now. we get it nadal is amazing,

I agree, mental strength is overrated, and all this stupid "he is in his head" ******** is simply a myth.

He literally cant do anything more than that. Perfect short angle BH with pace. This surface isn’t built for his game.

Fed grew up on clay. He’s been the second best clay court player of this generation. And would have won 3-4 French open titles easily. If not for the greatest clay court player ever.

I enjoyed Fed's run.

Some of y'all are unhealthily enamored with the slam race.

If he gets passed he gets passed. The world will not end. Fed's accomplishments will not be erased.

Wait what the hell am I saying? IT'S ALL THAT MATTERS.

Either #18 or #16 is happening.

Tim where are you? Save us

Lol yeah you’re right.

Even if Nadal passes him, it’ll be with like 15 French opens. He’ll still only be the clay GOAT. Not the overall goat.

Yes, today he looks like he's lost a lot of form on clay.

I guess 6:2 upcoming:rolleyes:

Could be wrong but pretty sure if you check TB records on a player's fave surface it's better than on their worst surface even against most major rivals. One could say the winner has executed better mentality but they have a slightly more secure platform from which to do so due to level of comfort or the margins they can operate in within the conditions, or in a crude sense not all the strength manifests equally because one player has to fight more of a typical match-up edge (influenced by various factors) than the other.

Fed had the game to beat Rafa here in 05,06,07,11 where he had the movement, speed and baseline consistency (if he played 07 win huge FH like 05-06 and reduced UFE) but never pulled it off. No chance here, Nadal too good, big FHs out of nowhere to hit winners.
