Thiem should have demanded monday final. If the promoters had refused, he should have refused to play and defaulted the match. giving a big **** you to organizers of the french open, denying them a final, and giving nadal a tainted 12th french open title

It all sounds very professional. You should be a tennis manager.

screw professionalism. its all BS. tennis is the most corrupt sport in the world. and all the corruption is hidden behind this veneer of ''professionalism''. I respect MMA and UFC so much more. big names have actually been caught and outed when doping. they trash talk and tell each other how they really feel, instead of political correctness of tennis

Both is fake though. In fighting sports they act as if they hate each other to bring the audience in, and then after the fight they fall into each other’s arms.

In almost all other sports they act as if they are friends to be "good role models", but in reality the relationship is mostly at least much more superficial.

Behind the curtains it should be very much the same everywhere. Some like each other more, some not so much, but there are very rare real friendships and real hate.

you're right about fighting sports 'they ''fake'' hate. but the important point is in UFC they have more rigorous drug testing compared to tennis. its not great by any means, but better than tennis
