There's been a huge fight between lawyers and the cops in my city recently. The cops could not find a single lawyer willing to represent them.
Seems after analysing video feetage, that a lawyer tried to execute an impromptu half-volley in a parking lot of a court complex (this is not a tennis court but the legal one). A cop asked him not to endanger lives and compromise the sanctity of the court. More lawyers jumped in, the cop executed a Bullet Release(™) on the lawyer injuring him greviously, and that put the city virtually in a lockdown for many days with both sides protesting each other. This flouts the fundamental right of all Indians to execute sureshsiam approved maneouvres anywhere at any time.
Also, they are not permitting girls between 10 and 50 to attend some Suresh temple even thgouh the Supreme Coart has said that all men and women, even menstruating men and women have a right to Surehsez Darshan.
