The WTF curse keeps going?

Unlike those others, Murray did win a title (2017 Dubai) and went on to make a Slam semi-final ( 2017 Roland Garros) before his hip injury finally kicked in.
Well Zverev as well ended that 'disaster' season within top 8, which is quite an achievement for lkke 99.9% of those who play tennis, yet many declared it was a failure season

WTF is designed for Federer and especially Djokovic. The indoor hardcourt tournament with lower bounce is a pain for my player Nadal. The organizers obviously hate Nadal and are doing everything in their power to make him lose there each year.

I wish WTF was played on outdoor clay. 8-B

@GoldenMasters it's been indoors/outdoors fast/medium fast lower bouncing HC/carpet even before nadal picked up a tennis racquet.
If anything, organisers elsewhere have done rafa a hell lot of favour by slowing down the courts and increasing the bounce height..(IW, USO, AO, Canada, Cincinnati, Wimbledon)

1 is a coincidence
2 is a pattern
3 is a blue-print

Obviously if Tsitsipas fails to make a Slam Final or win more than 1 Masters I don't think he's progressed that well from last year. Remember it was 2 seasons ago he made a Masters Final and made 1 last year. He's gotta start converting more now.

That the last 4 WTF winners all experienced slumps following their wins.

I don't really put Murray in that group myself, because unlike the others, he pushed his body too far to get that year end number one ranking that he effectively ended his own career at the time, first suffering burn out and then getting injured. Even if he didn't beat Djokovic in that final, he was still done by that point.

The other three are different though, they were fresh, though I do think it is still a little too early for Tsitsipas, I mean he could turn it around quickly at the sunshine double.

So basically it's 2 out of 4 so far, not a proper curse yet. All depends on whether Tsits is willing to turn it into one.

It's not a curse, these players clearly don't have what it takes (so far) to win the biggest titles (bar Murray).

Probably more likely it's just another repeat of last year, unfortunately. He'll probably burn out playing these 500 & 250s, crash out early at IW/Mia and then be ready to start fresh for clay.
