Yeah he needs to manage his body well over next few weeks. Hopefully he is okay and can play a good final tomorrow. Either way the us open is what really matters now. The final would be nice to win but he needs to be in top shape for start of us open.

No point in not trying at this point. He owns Raonic and rallies shouldn't be physically demanding and as you said winning Cincy would do wonders for his aura.

Despite all the measures, the security bubble that isolates the tournament from the rest of society is fragile. Mainly the serve as it requires him to arch his neck back where the injury supposedly is, as far as groundstrokes go, probably only a but of discomfort. Luckily Djokovic is arguably the best returner and the world and can break his opponent even if his serve falters.
