Hell, I used to think he would retire in 3-4 years, and maybe never win a UsOpen or more than 1 HC slam. He's won 5 of them.

Exactlyyyyy lol. Matches like this remind me I still expect too much, but this dude has been through it, and done it all, well after I've thought he was done like 8 times.

I'm currently enjoying some rare Manchester sunshine so not watching the match(not that I would be anyway :p) but I imagine it must be at least a little concerning for Nadal fans that he's struggling so much against a past his prime Nishikori. :whistle:

100% agree. Thought in 2015 he was surely done. He looked so bad.
I was in the stadium at the Fognini loss in the UsOpen. Thought at that time - Nadal's done it's been a good run. Dude ends up winning 6 slams after that!

nishikori was all over nadal, he was playing way better, he had all the chances but in his mind he doesnt believe he can beat nadal on clay.. nadal will win this game only because of mindset. niahikori was far the better player since set 2

Rafa's winning basically any point where he puts some real pace on his ball. Kei is far too slow to react in time, so his footwork isn't in place to absorb it.

Obviously way easier said than done, but it's so noticeable.

The Office was my favorite show on TV at the time, I owned all of those first 6 seasons on DVD to rewatch over and over.

But I kind of lost my taste for it, I haven't watched the show since the finale.
