I'll usually take between 3 to 5 string jobs until I find the tension I really feel comfortable with. Using the Hyper-G it was on my fourth string job that I found what was "it". So, for the price of five sets (worst case scenario), I might just buy the reel. If I like it, I'm "winning". If I don't like it, I'll just either share some sets with people to try it out or just plain give it away.
Not really, no. What I'm saying is that when you publicize clearance and shutdown of European operations on your website on one day and then on the next day it's like it didn't happen, I don't feel very "safe" as a customer in terms of brand positioning. It's not really because of the price, though - although in hindsight it looked like a blatant attempt to drive sales. And I bought it cheaper than that "discounted price" - so not really "upset" because of pricings.
