We told Vicious the Doppio was awesome the first time he demoed it and shot it down for Wilson frames..lol. I prefer the laser directness of the VC95, but at the end of the day the Rad MP beat them both out for me.
And yeah, the Top B is F'n rad too if you are good with XL. I think PK's only misstep with this new line was overweighting their standard length offering a bit more than needed. Besides that, I find it to be an upgrade in feel and punch.

I don’t know if the Top B needs the caveat about being an XL. I think I would have been turned off if I knew it was an XL and never tried it (I thought I was ordering a Doppio and got the XL by accident!!)
It’s not cumbersome or awkward in any way whatsoever. In fact, having used the Pure Aero for years I’d say it really feels identical holding and swinging it.

It plays very fast for sure. But you pay a little on the OHBH for the XL. And I think for those susceptible to shoulder or elbow issues, any XL is a bit more risky, even one as comfortable as the TB …. When serving you’re just going to have a bit more stress on the arm at contact. No issues for me so far, but I can see where someone like PP would be gun shy. And I at least think about it.
But yeah, it’s just a super XL. I thought the PD+ was the standard for a long time until I started hitting the G thang and the TB. PK wins the XL games.

That's why I'm holding off on TB for now. My last stick pre-PK was a Yonex EZone 98+ sawed down to 27.25 and despite being a relatively soft frame, my elbow issues flared up again. Just ordered up my second Doppio directly from Lorenzo's olive grove in Italy.

For me, i'm not full in the new yellow PK camp like PP. really, the feel of the TB is awesome and i love it. But I equally love the crispness of the Doppio and I just know I will be back on that at some point. They are equally loved. They just have to take turns as they were driving me nuts trying to play both of them.

The 1st time I tried the Doppio it felt very sluggish. I do think it had to do with the specs and I must have gotten a 'porky' one. PK frames aren't the easiest to find and it's tough taking another chance on a brand where you know it's going to be difficult to sell if you don't end up liking it. If I didn't own the SW1 I wouldn't have tried the Doppio again. Regardless, I'm glad I did.

I like that bright Orange. I asked a Jr who was playing it, next court over, what he liked about it. He liked the power/pace/control he could put on the ball. He was wearing a bright green T shirt ala Hyper G, which was what he had in the frame. I remember when frames came in all colors back in the 90's. Happy to see them back.

The first one I got was underweight so I leaded it a little. I have both of mine matched at 327 grams, 329 SW and 5 pts HL. I think the second one only needed 2 grams of putty in the buttcap to get there.

I need to string a Prince racquet for someone that has O-ports. But only at the top and the bottom of the frame (see below). I've never strung one with O-ports before but I've read about them needing a boomerang tool to string them or something with using the brake of your machine. Do I need to keep anything in mind stringing this specific racquet or can I just go ahead and string it the regular 2-piece way?

If you only have ports at hoop and throat, you do not need to do anything special other than start mains in the middle. Ports on the side require brakes, etc. to keep the string on the correct side. Your image does not have ports on the sides of the hoop. If you get that type of frame, look up 50-50 stringing.

It looks like the Oports are just on the mains for that frame. way easier. Just use your hip or the brake if your machine has one. When the ports are on the crosses, you can do a 50/50, but it's still more of a pain than this frame.

Thanks guys. The ports are indeed only at the top and throat of the frame, just for the mains. My machine does have a brake so I'll definitely be good to go.

That was quick. Both IG Prestige MP frames and 1 Regna sold in about a day. 1 more Regna to go.
I can't sell this v5 Blade no matter how long it sits and how low the price goes. I'm thinking of just keeping it as selling it at this price isn't really worth it.
I may end up listing both v7 Blades and the 360+ Prestige MP. I keep waffling on those. But not sure when I would use them again. Plus Marie Kondo'ing these frames makes it easier to decide what to play with.
Last night I found I played best with . . . the UT. It really is a 3 way battle for me every time I step on the court between the UT, VC95, and Doppio.
I can't sell this v5 Blade no matter how long it sits and how low the price goes. I'm thinking of just keeping it as selling it at this price isn't really worth it.

may want to try the big auction site. May also be the fact that the v8 is out, but from experience, the v5 sold at outrageous prices until a few months ago.

This one has some cosmetic flaws that look much worse in pics so I'm sure that's a big factor. I know the v5 was very highly thought of in these parts so holding on to 1 Blade isn't the worst thing.

I've looked at that v5 of yours a few times. Gave it a good thought each time. But those are some gnarly-looking spots on it.

They are, compared to my usual frames. I expected the worst when I bought it. Luckily They really do get magnified a lot in the pics and arent as noticeable in person. Not sure how bad a stringer you have to be to make those marks. If not for those, the frame would be a 9/10. Luckily its purely cosmetic And doesnt affect performance. If i get rid of the v7s ill probably hang on to the v5.
i am jelly of that Wise of yours. Im only doing good in 1 of my FF leagues this year so my chances of winning money will be dependent on how I do there.

Tour Status is super interesting. Kind of freaks me out. It's a black string that plays like something silver. Crispy, borderline metallic. Hit great with it. Seems to have a lower trajectory than BK, and I think BK is better, but this is a first impression, we'll see how she breaks in.
The hallowed H19 is overrated. UT better.
That's all I got, folks. I believe I'm supposed to take some pills now.
