Yes that,s true at least according to Wiki.I think that with the absense of Roger many would ve voted Thiem but he also is out of voting.So probably Nadal or Novak-i cannot see someone like Tsitsipas to win it.

Epic... Just like Novak and Nishi leaving Rafa in advertising income after Rafa fan claimed he was as popular as FedThen Nadal will win, without any doubt. Clayqueen and the rest of the brigade are on this case as we speak.

I never had a problem with Fed winning the fan fav award all these years - he deserved it every single year because he's always the most beloved. But the repeated Edberg awards for Fed are BS. Sure, he's not doing anything to disqualify himself from it, but the whole methodology is just them asking other players who deserves it, and everyone's knee jerk reaction would be to name the most recognizable top player (i.e. Federer). So many other players who deserve it just as much if not more (Delpo, Ferrer, Blake, Raonic, etc) get nothing because they don't have the same name recognition.
Federer certainly was the fan favorite every time he won the award. But he definitely does not deserve that many sportsmanship awards.
