they wont wear this model. it has the v11/vp2 outsole and upper construction of the v11, they've both tested the v11 and opted not to use it
can't imagine them wanting to use a shoe that is in essence the same as the v11

That is very true, I hope the other model that comes out other than this is light and is more zoom zero/vapor x ish. I think the reason the shoes have gotten heavier is due to the fact that people are getting fatter so they cannot wear light shoes.

totally, I have a pair of mac attack v11 that Im not going to wear, ill sell them. they are way too bottom heavy, like you said must have something to do with injury rates in lighter shoes for overweight/uncoordinated people. regardless, total shame

I was pretty shocked at how clunky they are. Nothing like a Vapor whatsoever. I couldn't wear them. The good news is, I got some Zoom GP Challenge in yesterday and think they are awesome. They are a little thick down low, but pretty nimble and my heel is totally locked in.

So went in store to refresh my memory and yes large fits better all around except that collar is super loose. Medium which is usually my size, the collar was much better but I don't like sleeves that short overall just felt like a short shirt. As much as I liked it on Sinner I think I'll pass. Hopefully RG stuff fits better on me.Did you feel the collar was sized big?
It looks giant on all the players and model photos, seems to be the style on all performance shirts these days, lots of clavicle showing.

I'm not sure about this year's stuff but my Advantage crews/zips from 22/23 are not tight. They're super stretchy, cut big in the shoulders and chest, short but loose sleeves, and the collars don't get in your way. It was like they were made just for me and I bought way too many. 8 Slam zips, 4 Advantage zips, at least 10 of the Adv crews. Insane

Agreed. Give us pro player shoes like the zoom zero and court ballistics over these pro player sleeves. Nike has really been scrimping on their tennis department.
Zoom Zeros were out and nobody cared. Now Sinner won AO and miracle happened and Zoom Zeros are now great shoes

I liked them when they came out, it was a pain to put them on because I wore thick socks but I loved the traction, literally 10x grippier than the x and cage 3 at the time. But I agree they were very rare 2019-2020.Zoom Zeros were out and nobody cared. Now Sinner won AO and miracle happened and Zoom Zeros are now great shoes

just an all around weird fitting shoe, long but not wide enough for some
i feel that it really hugs my foot, but i dont mind that, if anything i think it makes the experience a bit more agile

I couldn’t get it right, I’m usually a 10 and tried an 11.5, and still it was so tight I couldn’t keep it on. The toebox also just was so low and not spacious enough.

I know the ‘factory’ insoles are almost useless - but still; at that point it’s presumably time to look elsewhere.

I did not as this was 4 years ago lol but it would be worth trying for that shoe, one of the only times I’d maybe try without an insole or do my own.
