Out of Curiosity...how are you feeling post final?

After it was over...and i cleared up the thing that was in my eye (ie )...i watched the two tiebreakers and some of the 5th set of wimbledon that they re-aired after the match. Then i played some video games...realized that i had no energy..starting watching Courier VS Wilander outback championship...turned around and ****ing fell asleep...

from miday to 10 Pm...i was out like a light..the heart attacks and sleepless nights fed caused finally took their toll....i was going to bed at 4 and waking up at 6...not very healthy...my life has been on hold for two weeks..no hanging out with friends..no phone calls...no nothing..

That said im content now with Federer (i was content at number 12, these other two are just bonuses for me to have watched) if he were to retire tomorrow it wouldn't even bother me..if he went on to lose every match he would play from now on (righhhhhhhhht lol) it wouldn't bother me...because he's immortalized himself. I bet he'll be snuggling with his trophy like a stuffed animal for the next few weeks

My life feels complete now lol. I was wanting Federer to win this French for years now. Always thought "next year might be the year"...but after last year's final I started losing hope. However, the biased person that I am...I still had big hopes on him perhaps winning it this year. Feels great man...getting Wimbledon back is the next goal now and then winning US Open for the 6th consecutive time. I dont think any man has won any slam more than 5 straight times right? That would be another record then .

I felt great, I still feel actually and there's not much left for Federer to win. I was really glad he won the final in very good fashion. It's still a bit unreal tbh

Oh i still feel great to lol

After i woke up i popped in every tennis game i owned (Smash court 2/3, Top spin, Virtua tennis 3) and crushed random players with Federer (Safin and Nadal in SC 2/3, Hewitt in topspin, and Haas in VT3)

I'm hoping Federer rides this high and goes on to win Wimbledon, thereby, equaling Borg's and Nadal's improbable FO-Wimby double feat.

I felt good....then I fell asleep because I just came from Graduation and Grad night and just stayed awake because the final came on an hour after that ended.

I really felt great after the final. When it was all done and I watched the whole ceremony I took out my K90 and sanded it down for like an hour. Then I went out all day and I just felt so calmed by the fact that Fed won RG that my mind became really clear. When I finally got home I finished sanding my K90, regripped it and it looks sick now. My new braided carbon looking K90; a product of Fed's RG win.

Tilden won 6 US Open's in a row and 7 overall.

Like to see Federer win at least 1 more US to be the best of the Open Era. 8 US Opens would be really special as the outright leader (3 other men have 7 each).

Tired... stayed up overnight... very relieved... glad my bet stake came through... ultimately, happy to have witnessed Federer's achievement, and very very glad that I watch tennis.

I waited for Fed to win the french open for so long. Each year I would think this time he will do it and he finally did it. I was happy so i PM-ed all my friends on yahoo that Federer won along with the status message - " Federer wins French". haha. And you know most of them don't even watch tennis. But they knew I liked Federer and were happy for me. I was relieved that he finally won. Then suddenly i thought now win the Wimby. I m so greedy.Lolz.

I feel relieved for Mirka and Roger. I thought she would die of heart attack along the way. I also feel Sod was a bit too acquiescent in playing the role of runner-up. Not that I expected he had to maintain that fantastic level of play that got him to the final, but that he would make more effort once he got there. Obv Roger played his best match in the final, but it seemed to me Sod could have been less content with losing as he played his match.

I now want Fed to "spread the wealth" around . I'd be happy with him winning 1 or 2 more slams per year for the next 3 years. If his competition wins some slams, then it will only add to his legacy.

Hahaha.. believe it or not, I did that too (but played only VT3). I actually beat Sharapova as well and yes, I played only on grass court as a preparation.

I am feeling so relaxed.

The biggest thing is it is such a huge lesson for the rest of my life. If you want something, keep at it. Everything else that stops you from achieving it will give up eventually if you want it badly enough and are sincere about it.

Gives me goosebumps on demand.

OT reply:
I loved the original TopSpin but TopSpin3 increased the difficulty to a frustrating level with the new scheme. It can be mastered but it takes a lot of time. I often found myself giving up after 45 mn-1 hr session thinking I could use that time to play outdoor tennis.

VT3 is a fun, pickup,play and drop kind of game. It is something that fits in my schedule nowadays. I still liked the original TopSpin better than VT3 because of the online play and it had no mindless diving.

I am now ready for VT2009 (and EA sports tennis for my wii)

I played a league match later (with the RF hat no less), and won handily. The best part was I kept my eyes on the ball more than usual like Fed does Definitely a very nice day.
