verdasco the fiasco

Another week, same result, another first round loss to Monfils, nothing wrong with losing to Monfils.
Fiasco is lucky because it's a RR, so He'll play more matches, i mean, he'll lose more matches.
Thanks Monclown for keeping this fiasco going.
How long hasn't he won a match??
3 months now?

Verdasco's W/L record is 10-12 in official matches since the end of the clay season, and that includes a QF run at the USO. If you don't count the USO, it's 6-11...

He has a back issue. He was barely moving to his side when playing in the third set. He was hitting the ball really cleanly in the first set, though.

Once the clay court season comes Verdasco's ranking will plummet.

Another sad story of unfulfilled potential. I'm afraid that AO 2009 will always remain as the pinnacle of his career.

Verdasco will never go bald. He has thick hair.

Regarding your sig, Verdasco's mojo was not his own mohawk, but Ivanovic's, if you catch my drift . She sucked it off her (ahem) and after that every top female player will run out of the building the moment she catches a whiff of him around. So that avenue of improvement is forever closed to him and we should expect Fer to gently fade back into the top #20-30.

Just needs to keep his head on straight-- 3 match points says he's a monster... getting into proverbial "my stick is bigger than yours" battles with tipsy... *shakes head*

Tipsy was playing ok, but Fiasco just kept hitting unforced errors. Then tipsy ran out of gas, which was surprising. I would think he would be used to 5 setters from all that Davis cup.

I wonder if Verdasco regrets switching from Technifibre?

Congrats to Fiasco for winning 3 matches in a row.
But any hard hurdle would be too much for him.
TBerd came to save the thread.
Fiasco shall live longer.

Congrats to Fiasco for reaching a final and losing in straight sets to Raonic.
That is how much better Raonic is, 20 year old, first final, against a pseudo top 10, it can't go wrong but beating Fiasco.

Gooooooooood evening fellas?
How is everybody doing??
It's Tuesday, a first round for a pseudo top seed called Verdasco Fiasco and guess what??
He is knocked out on the first round for the 6th time in the last 8 tournaments he played and not to mention He lost to the same opponent 2 matches in less than 4 days.
What a better Fiasco than this.
Verdasco is closer and closer to leave top 10 to never come back there again, where he never belonged.

Never been a fan of Verdasco, but I can't deny that the guy has a quality game. He has impeccable form on his forehand, moves well, and has a pretty big serve; unfortunately, I dont think this guy will ever fulfill his talent because of his mediocre mental game.

He is not talented, he can only play like because He works out really hard to put some muscles and make up for the lack of talent He has.
As experienced He is and as inexperienced Raonic is, Raonic beat Verdasco twice in less than 4 days and Verdasco was not able to make the adjustments.
One year later, with more experience Raonic will beat verdasco 6x0 6x0.

Clowndasco's place in the top 10 has become as big a comedy around here as that rovex idiot.

Good morning my dear friends!
First and foremost I'd like to congratulate my fellas here that are reviving this thread when I can't do, the legacy should live on.
Now going back to the thread:
Bellucci has more potential than the Old FIASCO.
He should've kept his mouth shut, because players that are beaten on first rounds of many tournaments and think they are really the real deal, probably aren't, humility is a virtue, and Fiasco doesn't have it.
He talked a lot of crap in the past 2 weeks about Raonic , and clay is this, clay is that, If He was really good on clay, He could've spoken something, but He really sucks and it doesn't matter what surface is, those guys beat Fiasco just like they beat a 12 y.o junior.
Fiasco, your days as top 10 are expiring for the good of the game of tennis.
Rovex, I told you, Del Po for sure will not only finish in front of Fiasco in the rankings at the end of the year, but He will do it so with 1000 points in front of him.

Seriously what's wrong with him? It seems his return game has just left him, used to be one of the better returners on tour.

That and he starts real slow. Not to mention he's a real choker and its a recipe for disaster.

It seems every time I watch him he's a UE waiting to happen.

You're kidding right?
He never had one of the best returns on Tour, not even on his best dream.
