No but James kept on saying that he was struggling with injury, not form. Of course he was going to be a little rusty, but Levine is awful. Anyway he started playing pretty well when I was watching. What's the score now? Wish he had played the AO...could have added some nice points to finish year in top 30 or so.

lol ... as soon as i turned on the volume, i heard him talking over and over about monfils, who isnt even in the match this guy is announcing, kept calling him "athletic" ... same thing every announcer ALWAYS says repeatedly about monfils ... but then he called him "Gumby-like" ... which I think is a first! :shock:

Interesting - the long retired arthritic grandpa Sampras doing a pretty good job keeping up with prime Federer "competition". If Sampras and Nadal were born the same year as Federer, Sampras would have probably won at least 18 slams and Nadal at least 20.

Oh thanks for the info - I am surprised they are done with the main draw matches, as it is only 8pm in California? Oh well, I'll try to catch them tomorrow. I am assuming that Sweeting, Istomin, Lacko, Phau, Berankis, and Nishikori all got through their matches today, so there should be something to watch tomorrow.

According to him, Benjamin Becker is a player that never beats himself, you just have to take it to him. And mind you, Becker is known for being a UE machine and the record holder for most double faults in one game.
It gets better, he called Ryan Sweeting, a "bomber". Further, he says that he can't imagine players being able to break him. Reminder: Sweeting almost got triple-breadsticked by Nadal at the AO.

That was a big old shock. A friend who keeps pretty obsessive current ranking records told me after the AO. I've looked at his profile myself and am still having trouble believing it.
