He was probably referring to when he was top 20 (in 2002?), but forgot to add 'he used to be'. He mentioned that he used to be 19th in the first set.

Seffina, that is what he does. He does www.radiotennis.com so he usually has no visual feed going out to viewers. so he has to construct the point 1 shot at a time. Imagine a tennis broadcast with NO pictures.

Nishikori looks ok but I worry that he's a WTA type of player. One style, hit it at 100mph, bash the ball etc. I wonder how he'd fare if Hajek throws in a few slices and dropshots...

Hmm.... definitely a weakness to the Nishikori game - he cannot consistently hit down the line especially on the FH side.

it's weird, but the stream i was watching went down, so i switched to one on LSH, and i could hear that ken thomas commenting, but then that stream went down, and now the only one available is one without commentary ...... for tonight I'd rather hear him than nobody!

I'm no fan but Young really needs some serious coaching if he is to move further in his career. His movement sucks for a guy that is quick, and seems to lack court sense out there.
Anyone notice that the ballgirls/people in this tournament are terrible? There this one knob who keeps strolling along slowly when the players are ready to play, another who is throwing the ball overhand (which is stupid) across the court to another equally spastic ballgirl. Awful and cringe inducing.
