G.O.A.T.
I wonder how well Minnesota can do in the NCAAs. Would love to see them make the Round of 16. Guess it depends on the draw and who they matchup with in the 2nd Rnd.
One thing I hate about the ITA is the way they do tournaments. Because of Minnesota's location they will probably end up in Ohio State's region when they deserve to go to a lower ranked schools place.

I thought it was random draw based on your seeding group (ie 8-16 seeds)?
I am getting an error trying to access Live State from the tournament site. Anybody getting live stats for Minnesota - OSU?
Michigan women take a close doubles point.
Womens sounds close, osu looking good in the mens although the bottom of the lineup minn is ahead.
Are they playing the womens out door, is that why I cant get a link, I wish I could watch it.
Womens is outdoors accoridng to the match schedule. I'm just "watching" live scores. NU women are up in the third set, 3-0 at No. 1, and 1-0 at No. 2. But, they're playing at Michigan and the Wolverines No. 1 and 2 are great players, so there's a long way to go. I have my fingers crossed though.
The women's match was going to run web cams, but they did not want Fedace leering at them so they decided to go with LiveStats only.
Minnesota is playing really well at 4, 5, and 6. If they actually played the whole match out, Minnesota could very well lose 4-3 or 5-2, a very respectable score vs. OSU.
But, it looks like it's almost over and it will probably be be abandoned at 4-0.
In the Big Ten, Ohio State would have to really fall apart. Most of their players could catch the flu or get injured and WWIII would have to break out before they lose the title. The battle is for number two. Illinois has definitely fallen back to the middle of the pack, so Michigan, Minnesota and (gag) even Indiana has a chance. There should still be 5 or 6 teams in the NCAA tournament, with 2 or 3 of them making it to the Sweet Sixteen.
why is Minnesota so hated so much ? Are they all jerks ? or too arrogant ?
No one said anything bad about Minnesota, much less "hated" them. Is your reading comprehension that bad?
I heard alot of bad things about Minnesota players. arrogant, acting like jerks...
Minnesota had one major jerk, who was the then coaches son. However, the program has been turning around, and they are recruiting good talent. This is a good team, and a credit to the coach.Yes Minnesota had some major jerks a few years back, I think they changed.
What is going on with Northwestern? they have been sucking ever since Todd Martin turned pro
Just like Standford has sucked since the Bryan's left. You are stuck in a 1980's and 90's time capsule.
It's probably because the wrong guy is driving the bus. All of their sports have improved BUT, men's tennis. They must have a great AD, but this program needs some attention.Northwestern men baffle me. They have a great facility, their women have been good, they are a first class academic institution so it seems everything should be geared to attract top recruit. Yet so many others in the big ten have improved recently. Why not them?
There's a pretty large difference between Stanford sucking(top 15) and Northwestern sucking(outside top 60)

AGREE, bring Todd Martin as the HEAD coach and they could become top 5 in the nation. No doubt
Also they have pretty strict admission requirements. I think guys that get admitted to Ohio State could never get into Northwestern due to poor grades.
Don't go there. OSU has academics as good as anyone. All big land grant state schools have tremendous programs. Top programs are not the exclusive of the "name" schools. Never have been. Medicine, OSU has one of the best. Law, Michigan and Minnesota. Athletics, all, even the Ivy's cut corners. Hockey players at Dartmouth and Cornell? Anyone want to touch that? They get Canadians that are 21 yr. old freshman! Top hockey players in the Ivy League don't come from Hotchkiss, or Deerfield. Also they have pretty strict admission requirements.
