Why no love for Fed

Remember those five sets against Novak at Wimbledon. No doubt Novak's accomplishments this year Amazing. Still Fed proved this - I know where you are at this moment, I may be a bit slower than previously, but I for one am not phased nor dazzled.

I am not chasing records, I set them and sustained them for years. Your mindset is "I will keep winning"; mine is "I know how to beat you." Bravo and keep doing your thing but remember this Nole, my 30 is like your new 25; streaks come and go, but I am still here Baby Boy!

Just saying...

Always up to some kinda shenanigans. Murray to take the title, and Fed as a Dark Horse?

REALLY?

(There you go with that delusion again. What is the point of posting when no tennis is played for almost a month after Wimbledon?)

You have a habit of disappearing for a while after Nadal loses. Where were you when he pathetically gifted Djokovic a Wimbledon title?

(A habit? Because I don't post after Wimbledon? Again, what tennis is played after Wimbledon? There is nothing to post about.....until Montreal/Toronto)

Fed has not shown at all this year that he could beat either Djoko or Nadal on hard court. Right now, the worry is whether he can get past guys like Tsonga or Berdych.

Of course he has , he was very close both times they played there this year. And for what is worth, he beat him in that exhibition they played in Colombia (which was a great match, BTW).

He's right about Djokovic winning the final, but it will not be by beating Nadal, who will be lucky to even make the second week. No way he even comes close to making the final. Novak will win by beating Murray, even though I really hope Andy at least shows up and makes a match of it.

I think the most likely final is a Djoko-Murray one.

I want a Fed-Murray final, though.

Mcenroe and Wilander are such pathetic bandwagonners, not too long ago they were proclaiming Rafa to be the best player ever, best volleys on tour, best tennis brain etc. and now they're picking Novak right off the bat even though he had some physical issues in Cincy.

Bodo is a moron. I don't even read his **** any more. He reminds of Joan Rivers. NO, Joan Rivers is very pretty.

I have ZERO respect for Wilander actually. He recently said that the way Djokovic was playing, he hadn't seen Tennis like that in his entire life. LOL!

I have a feeling Novak will not win this. I'm picking Fed to beat Nadal because he's not dead yet. I think Mardy Fish, if the same one of late shows up, will get to the quarterfinals.

Gasp, what an original and exiting prediction.

Djokovic is the strong overwhelming favorite in a way that Nadal used to be at Roland Garros and prime-Fed used to be @ UsOpen. These picks are sensible unless these guys want to look like fools and make outlandish predictions..

You guys are being unreasonable. Why wouldn't fed be a dark horse?

He has been and will always be my favorite tennis player and I want him to win, but to say he's a favorite to win is not clear-minded. He has a feel right now that he can lose his focus and drop out early to someone, and to think that fitness-wise he will keep up with a semifinal and a final with two of the big four is questionable.

I used to say he turn s his level up a notch at grand slams, which he does. But he turns it back down during weird matches nowadays too, so he's a dark horse. Quit insulting people

:)lol: Nobody even knows if Djokovic is capable of winning the US Open, and you are comparing that to Nadal's Roland Garros favoritism )
