Radical liquidmetal MP is 630 head size as I can see on the net, I am just curious what mold is now in action if the head is 645'?
Ok it is clear now because Head is saying that Novak is playing with MP model speed ig and head size is 645...so I thought that he switched to little bigger head size comparing to last year model of speed pro (630).Mateo, brate, sta si se uvatio za 645???
The head size is just like Radical MP = 630.

(gdje si bmw brate, nisam znao dali je glava reketa ista ili veca, hvala na pomoci.)
Yes I know about Head marketing lies, of course when you see thread like this than it is confirmed that it is always the same ''all about money''.Head is full of "stuff"...
Just like Wilson and others...
Nole's racket has nothing to do with what Head Advertizes
MG Radical MP was is a "U". Other than that it is the same mold as the Ti./i.Radical MP Moould.
That is what I was saying...can it be a same mold with different channel ending?
To me its clear that he changed racket to a different/ similar mold.
Look at before:
Look at after:
It might still be very similar setup since I am sure nice folks at HEAD can make it so but still I claim that he changed thus all his current results are doe to a U j/k j/k
What I was trying to say that it is possible that its a different racket now that what it was with white Speed paint. We already know that balance is different.
> You can have it for just $1000
What country is it being sold out of? It didn't turn up in a US search.
Deleted - the problem is the second ellipsis in the link.
Okay, I did see that on the US site.
Only problem is that there isn't enough room to add a huge amount of lead tape.
The URL doesn't work because it was shortened (see the second ellipsis).
TW doesn't sell 1 mm lead tape ....
yes u were, u win a hit with the racquet!
Jokes aside, I'm trying to get a i.Radical MP for a comparison so hopefully more pics. And u were right about the grip.
Fabfed, congratulations for a very nice thread and thank you for sharing, it gave us tennis fanatics firsthand information to the real specs of our favorite pro player's set up and specs.
I was wondering since I am not an expert on Head rackets and I did not have the chance to have the Ti radical and i.radical rackets. Is there any chance that Novak's current stick is of the same mold as the Head LM radical MP which is still on sale at TW which Novak used in 2005?
Was messin around with the specs of a MG Radical (mine was matched to the posted specs on TW's site)
If you took a stock Radical and did this to it, you'd get something similar to the djokovic setup.
I'm considering giving it a try, out of curiosity (my main stick now is the speed 16x19, like to play with the Rad sometimes tho)
I've been using Nole's setup for a few days - 32 inches (2 x 1/4) around the hoop with some overlap at 3/9. I only found this out when I took off the CAP grommets last night and found 12 inches of lead tape at the top. That plus the 20 inches on the inner hoop covers most of the hoop excluding the throat.

This is off a tgk238.4 XL and the total static weight is about 377 grams. It feels slightly less powerful than my heaviest KPS88 (13.3 ounces) - probably due to the difference in stiffness or maybe it's just taking me time to adjust.
The racquet has everything - power, control, touch, comfort, and feel. I played with it for 2.5 hours yesterday and let's just say that the running and weightlifting help to support the use of this beast.
serbian on my team has novak's racquet with LM pj. the lead is injected or in the frame. i will try to attain it and post pics and specs to go along with this thread.
Hi, could someone be so kind to give me a brief explination/defination of what is meant by Molds and Layups and the difference between them please?
Mr. vsbabolat, is this ever a step in racquet production?
i got permission to get the frame and take pictures and get the specs and whatnot. ill try to get on it asap. hopefully tomorrow.
The mold is the shape of the frame, it's geometry, while the layup is the composition of the frame i.e the material mix used to produce it. You can have 2 racquets from the same mold (they would look exactly the same) but one could be very flexible with a muted feel while the other is very stiff and harsh feeling, because of the different materials used in the composition.
