Here's a gif of Barboza's spinned kick KO... the way Etim was unconscious the moment that kick landed was a thing of another planet... the guy just planked there and the rest was gravity taking place.

2.gif

Best KO in UFC history along with Lyoto, and Anderson Silva's kicks.

Terry Etim was unconscious for a minute but he awoke and seemed fine after a few minutes during the judges decision, just a bit confused, as one would expect.

Here's something to get us started

I hope I'm not the only one that wanted to cry when the UFC was airing on FOX Sports and they were playing the football song before and after commercials. I really hope that the UFC as well as MMA expands but I didn't really like the look of it on a big sports channel such as FOX. I think that they could possibly have an MMA channel like how they have a Tennis Channel and Golf Channel.

He has a Belt in Rex-Kwon-Do.

Also as far as MMA KO's go this one is the most impressive Ive seen. I cant imagine getting caught with it though. But the dude that lands it acts like he does it all the time.

And this KO is also very impressive. I mean he got caught with a caporiera (sp?) kick so the level once again aint that high. But the most impressive part of the video is at 22 seconds when his boy flips over the top roperto give the guy some props. Then his other boy at 26 seconds tries to go between the ropes and falls right on his face.

Guess CM Punk is too hardcore for the UFC and Chael Sonnen, eh? http://www.mmafighting.com/2012/01/13/cm-punk-wont-escort-chael-sonnen-to-octagon-at-ufc-on-fox/

We aint gonna see Hendo caliber KO. But I donmt know if Bisping has enough power to do any damage to Sonnen. If Bisping wins it will be by sub. Sonnen obviously by decision or maybe he gets a semi lucky rear naked or something.

I can't see Bisping winning. I have actually grown to dislike Sonnen, at first I thought he was funny, but I have been soured. I don't hate Bisping like most people do.
I think this is a great card. I kind of think Phil Davis is going to beat Rashad as well.

I concur. Sonnen will G&P Bisping. Davis will beat Rashad as long as he doesn't get impatient and walk into something. And yes, for free network TV it's very good.

Sonnen decision looks like a work
I am not sure that there would be that level of corruption. However, besides the 3rd round, I thought Bisping won that fight. I can't believe one judge gave all three rounds to Sonnen, that is incompetence. 30-27 is so far off it almost seems corrupt.

Rashad looked way better than Phil Davis. Davis is going to need some work after all. I always seem to underestimate Evans.

Sonnen's rant after the fight was worthy of the WWE. His attitude seemed as suspect as the decision.

Sonnen won that fight. Bisping landed more strikes, however Sonnens strikes were more effective. While Sonnen didn't do much of anything with his takedowns in the first two, Bisping couldn't get takedowns and thus leaned on the cage and also did nothing. 29-28 should have been the score on all three cards for Sonnen. 30-27 was a bad one but the right fighter won

Sonnen won that fight.
I concur. Sonnen's standup held its own - and he took Bisping down early and often and controlled the fight.

@Ronaldo, you mean the fix so Bisping wouldn't be penalized for his constant shorts and fence grabbing? I don't think Dana would do anything for Sonnen after the suspension - that brought a huge dark cloud to the sport.

Not a very entertaining card. Sonnen squeaked it out, Davis didn't look good.

The UFC shoulda put Diaz v Condit on Fox. I'm psyched for that barn burner.

I can agree with all these. The only one I am the fairly certain of is Kosheck, but who knows. Koschek will be fired up after being disrespected at the weigh-ins. He is bigger and he will crush Pierce.
Nelson looks fitter, but his endurance has been suspect.
Condit is by far the best opponent Diaz has seen in a long time. Last fight, he faced a different, less hungry, and smaller B.J. Penn. He was able to wear him down with his size advantage. Daley, Noons and Santos are all good but are not elite welterweights. I think Diaz will take it, but Condit has a good chance.

Diaz won that fight no question. How can you win if you run away the entire time and only throw leg kicks that don't do anything? Natural born killer my ***

I had Condit ahead by a slight point margin, kinda like he won 3/5 tiebreaks. Diaz came closest to finishing the fight when he got backmount and worked for choke/arm bar in the 5th, but otherwise, he didn't let his combos go quite enough. Condit with great lateral movements and leg kicks squeaked it out.
