Stiffness table here in pdf form that tells you the numbers that I have posted numerous times already. A stiffer string does not stretch as much when struck with a ball or hung off a weight.

Sometimes the tables don't match up to real life. Lux bbo is listed at 267 and bhbr at 238 or so. I'd say bhb7 is at about 280. So the diff. should be about 2lb-4lbs to even out the elasticity of the string bed, to be more effective when controlling the shot. Its the same reasoning behind all advanced methods, to increase control/feel, such as proportional stringing, jaycee, etc. A normal string job done by the corner paper boy, he will just string one side all at once on the mains, disregarding your frame, and cause cracking, etc. He will not take off tension on oblique pulls with his thumb. He will not ping out mains to even out differences, that will always occur on the first side pulled: that side will ping out higher. He will double pull through several strings to save time. He will burn in crosses too fast. He will pull crosses too fast. He will pre stretch poly and copolys, because he does not know anything about the elastic nature of the bed, and hybrid cohabitation, and how it affects your feel/durability/tens. loss, etc. If you want to make the one thousand experiments I have already made with string, be my guest, but it will take you the same time it took me, since 81.
spin a ling, most spin I've seen anyone hit, and I did it, more than Nadal, when all the cross strings are done in hitting bed area. Spin that turned the hissing ball into an oval orange, and kicked 3 feet high over your head, off normal groundies. I call it spin a lings, and copy right the name right here and now. Also make smack a lings, that make loud noise when you hit.
