I guess Knicks and Mavs fans see no reason to post here. LOL

No Shumpert, Lin, and Amare against a completely healthy, motivated, and ready to go Heat? Not much you can really do there. Melo can't score every point and Chandler can't get every rebound.

James Harden starting a run on his own. So much for being a "scrub" just because he comes off the bench like someone claims.

I love how I never said "scrub" once and yet you claim that's all I call him. Nice try though, you're Harden nuthugging is really pathetic

Spurs still moving along. Up 3-0.

Yeah, you look at the box score and everyone makes a contribution of some sort. If someone doesn't play well another will fill the void, whilst Ginobili didn't shoot well, he had 10 assists off the bench I think. It's hard to look past the Heat v Spurs/Thunder in the finals.

You may not have said "scrub" but you definitely think bench players are bad players and can't play defense and etc. I just love how James Harden can prove you wrong. He can score, he can pass, and he can play defense by drawing a lot of offensive fouls.

You definitely said Harden had the elbow coming which was just stupid.

What about Lou Williams of the Sixers? He comes off the bench too, must not be good either right?

Jason Terry of the Mavericks? Gosh he must be horrible too.

Can you believe Bulls are starting C.J. Watson? He's a bench player! What's Tim Thibodeau doing?! He better start another "starter" or else...

And of course, Manu Ginobili can't play right?

Oh so you say I always call bench players scubs but now I don't? Good job trying to change it now that you've been proven wrong again. Show me where I said bench players are bad and can't play defense. Show me where I say every single one of them is like that. Oh you can't? Cuz I never said that, kid. You just love to make up stuff and pretend I said it for some pathetic reason.

Yea he had the elbow coming to him. Shadow and trash talk players who have accomplished more and start when you haven't done anything significant in the league is going to get you hurt when you mess with the wrong guy. Harden was asking for a reaction when he p!ssed off Artest, anyone with half a brain can see that, apparently you can't.

So let's see, according to your logic when a player who comes off the bench and hasn't accomplished anything in the league trash talks and shadows starters and players who have actually accomplished things is ok but then there is no possible way that maybe, just maybe going after the most violent player in the league won't have any possible negative outcomes and he isn't asking to get hurt? But trash talking and disrespecting better players is ok and everyone should do it? And when someone says that given the above scenario Harden was going to get hurt and was basically asking for it all of a sudden means all bench players suck? You suck at reading comprehension and understanding basic English and logic that's for sure.

Pulled from the other NBA thread after the Artest elbow incident:

"LOL I actually play basketball so I'm pretty sure I understand why they're on the bench better than you. Let me know when you walk onto a team that got votes to be ranked in the top 25 DI this year and beat Temple and Creighton. Oh and coming off the bench = bad player. You're really desperate now, just give up I've destroyed everyone of your pathetic attempts to defend Harden. Making up stuff isn't going to help"

"Uh Manu and Harden come off the bench cuz they can't do **** on defense. So one unsportsmanlike act is fine (trash talking) and actually good for sports but another is bad (throwing an elbow to the head)? Okay you sound like a logical person lol. You should probably stay far away from sports from now on since you clearly have double standards worse than the guys posting in the pro player discussion threads."

Yeah, CLEARLY I made those up right? Selective memory, or not owning up on your words?

I can't believe you're still fighting for Artest elbowing people. First of all, you just don't elbow people in the head, especially to the side or the back of the head. There's a reason why even fighting sports don't allow blows to the back of the head.

"Messed with the wrong guy?" How does that justify anything? If a victim fights back against a known criminal during a robbery and gets hurt, does it justify the criminal's actions because the victim "messed with the wrong guy."

Second of all: In a competition, everyone should be on level playing grounds. If there are any trash talking, it's about the present. It's not personal, and it doesn't go beyond the court. What, just because you've won a championship, I should think twice about going after you? No, right now, in this competition, I believe I'm better than you. That's what healthy trash talking is about. Of course, if it gets personal and goes beyond the court, there's no place for that.

Finally, don't talk to me about reading comprehension and understanding English. Especially, when you are going back and forth on your argument: "I said this, no wait I didn't say that!" Then, your lack of punctuation.

You obviously have a problem with James Harden even when he's having a breakthrough year, so there's no point in arguing with you.

I don't have a problem with Artest. I applaud his lock-down defense and hustle plays. I'll even look beyond his errant passes and questionable shot selections. But there's no room for elbows.

Looks like the Knicks will win their first playoff game since I was in elementary school. I'm a senior in college now. Some perspective.

Might have spoken too soon. What a crazy shot by LeBron.

So, the Knicks forced a game 5. What will they do with their point guard situation?

1) Play Mike Bibby for 48 minutes?
2) Throw in some rusty, out-of-sync, fresh off of surgery Jeremy Lin?

Yaaay Knick(erbocker)s!!!! Let's hope Amare S doesn't do anything stupid between now and game 5. Mike Bibby still plays???? I only watched the first half of the Bulls/76ers game today. JBfan, what happened? Sorry your guys are all injured. Go Celtics, go Spurs.

Injuries happened at the wrong time. Just like the Spurs last year. Just gotta hope D Rose can come back full strength next year.

Two absolute daggers by LA's role players (Sessions/Blake), with the assist by Gallinari's flop. LA goes home up 3-1.

OMG way to leave out the part where I say it's sarcasm, you're so pathetic. The 2nd one doesn't even say bench players suck. Give it up kid you are way out of your league here. Are you done making an idiot out of yourself or you gonna continue cuz you keep digging deeper holes every time you post and try to prove me wrong. I'm not fighting for him lol I said Harden's an idiot for inciting a violent person, learn to read AGAIN. Again you're saying trash talking is fine but reacting to it isn't. Strong double standards. You still can't understand English and I'm not gonna make every post with perfect punctuation, this isn't school. I have a problem with his attitude, not his stats or what he's done on the court. You apparently do since you're only bringing him up and not any other violent acts from other players.

I can't believe I'm even wasting my time arguing with someone who can't read the English language correctly. I'm done responding to your posts since you're just gonna make stuff up and make yourself look even dumber. Good luck with your reading comprehension and English reading goals of 2012.

Barring a massive collapse or two, we get:

Clippers vs Spurs
Lakers vs Thunder

Celtics vs 76ers
Pacers vs Heat

i think it's possible chicago "steals" one at home tonight. but they ain't winning the series.

what does chicago do in the off-season though? even with a healthy rose, i'm not entirely sure the addition of rip hamilton was going to be enough to get past miami. can they get rid of boozer?

Boozer can be amnestied if necessary. But there's slim chance of that happening, according to reports.

I dont quite think the Bulls this year had the enough offense to beat the Heat in a series.

But i dont think anyone this year has what its gonna take to beat the Heat in a series.

I think the addition of Rip Hamilton has been good. He's like a poor-man's Reggie Miller and definitely filled their shooting guard hole. The problem was, and continues to be: Rose and Hamilton haven't had the opportunity to play together. Rip was out with a plethora of injuries in the first half of the season. Then Rose had his plethora of injuries in the second half of the season.

And seriously, how much did they sign Boozer for again? And he's done what since? It's painful to watch him, with his butter fingers, passiveness, and the man is a turnover machine.

That's nothing new. Gibson's been better than Boozer for both these years.

Nuggets win ! They trail the Lakers 2 games to 3, and game 6 is in Denver. I'm starting to have some hope lol. I'm just glad we didn't get swept, it wasn't looking good the first 2 games

Kobe was the black hole today. I knew he would try a "I'm going to be the whole team" moment. He took 32 shots while Bynum took 8 and Gasol 11. Sessions took more shots than Bynum and Gasol. Stupid!

Was at Uni so didn't get a chance to watch the Boston v Atlanta game, but looking at the box score, it looks like Horford made a huge impact on his return. Definitely not what I want :D

Also I heard from others that it didn't look like the Lakers had their head in the game from the start. Can anyone confirm this?

I agree, but someone had to step for the lakers, they weren't playing that well and Kobe making 4 ? 3 pointers in the final few minutes was huge for them. Andre Miller played much better than Sessions today, he had some sick feeds to Mcgee

Lakers started out slow but you have to give some credit to the nuggets. They played fast basketball and there were many points where they just beat the Laker defense to the hoop. They are a fast team and they had the lead the whole time and lead by as much as 15 or 16. Really looking forward to game 6 here in the Pepsi Center

Yeah because none of them could get into their pre-game routine. Like Andrew Bynum on the other night.

Heat put an end to the Knicks drama-filled season.

Will the Knicks pay Lin?
Is there an offensive system out there that can utilize Amare, Melo, and Lin?
Is Amare a goner?
Will Phil coach next season?
Is Davis coming back or will he opt for retirement?
Will any of these guys (sans Chandler) work on defense and sharing the ball in the off-season?

What are you're guys thoughts of Steve Blake guarding Andre Miller last game? I wonder if the Lakers are going to stick with that failing matchup again.

On anther note, looks like the Grizzlies took this game vs the Clippers....

The Lakers go as far as Bynum's interst goes. he was constanly getting beat down the floor by faried. Faried out hustled him and made him look bad. Im sure one of these next two games bynum will get intersted enough to beat the Nuggets.

Dont know the extent of the Paul and Griffin injuries. Griffin is still raw and one dimensinal, but Chris Paul is basically playing team ball for 40-42 Minutes then taking over at the end of these games. MEM has no answer.

Boston's not a pushover and actually beat them 3 of 4 in the regular season. If they can stay healthy they'll pose a fair challenge. Wouldn't be shocked if they won that series should it come to pass. Miami still lacks that killer instinct in close games.

Andrew Bynum needs to stop putting his teammates on blast, saying he wasn't ready to play, and all the deflecting nonsense.

You just can't do that when Kobe is sick, older, going up against a younger perimeter stopper (Afflalo) and still gets 30 points.

Bynum is going up against the much smaller interior of the Nuggets.

I seriously can not wait for game 7 tomorrow. Metta World Peace will be back, Kobe is still battling the stomach flu, the Nuggets eager to get out of the first round of the play offs. Lots of drama

it all comes down to one game, should be a good one

If I were the Nuggets, I would just wrap up Andrew Bynum and stick my guys on Pau Gasol. So they can't get going.

Kobe will probably play like a man possessed with it being Game 7 and p!ssed off. He's going to be unstoppable and get 30-40 points.

I also expect Kobe to get 30+ points, but if we can contain Bynum and Gasol again then I think we have a chance. They really seem to be struggling with the double teams we're throwing at them.

Bynum's attitude is really strange though. He said closeout games are easy (they obviously are not) and he just seems disinterested in the game. Not sure what's up with him, but he's hurting the Lakers in this series by not playing well

I just hope its a close game with both teams playing good ball. it's a tossup really..
