Yes, and Nike and other corporations are standing behind him, everyone is talking about Nadal being doped all the time or Djokovic, but after this match it just confirmed opinions of many others I know that Federer is actually that one.I mean toilet break, being fresh as a daisy at the end of a match, just don't talk about Federer 'fluent' style of play.

Right, a simple 4 hour match means Federer is doping, whereas Nadal can play 9 hours in 2 days and nobody says anything.

Yes; because doping is a relative and often times arbitrary term.

There are plenty of substances or processes that enhance performance that all 3 undoubtedly take advantage of...

Yet, if you get a cold and take some OTC medications, you get pegged for cheating :confused:

If you want to believe that all or most of the top players take something, fine. But you're argument that Fed took something during a bathroom break and that it had an immediate effect is so incredibly asinine that it doesn't deserve a serious response.

Doping does not create or shape style or method of play (your "fluent" description), and there's no legal or clinical evidence of Federer using PEDs. If anything, a bathroom break is a form of gamesmanship (endless players throughout history have done the same during difficult matches).

Regarding his being fresh at the end of the match, what athlete has not recieved a second wind during a match. PEDs do not provide an instant "spark" like some sort of energy drink.

Provide evidence, or this is just a comedy thread.

This thread is hilarious on many levels. Not, because Federer is not a doper, but because out of the 10 players he is actually the least likely to dope. No point throwing mud, but I think we all know when we are seeing things that are unnatural. Marion Jones, Lance Armstrong, Barry Bonds etc. I think deep down everyone on this board knows the most likely players who dope.

Doping is a huge problem in sport. It is hard to say how bad it is, but lets be honest. Apart from cycling their is no real attempt to catch dopers. However, we need evidence.

As for this match Federer hardly did anything amazing. The points were not long and he held serve very easily. Federer was exhausted afterwards. Federer must have one of the best deciding 3rd set records in history and top 3 tie breaker record in history. His poor record in 5 sets is actually due to him getting tired.

If this is your "rationale" that Federer must be doping, then Djokovic must definitely be doping given his ridiculous 2011 season and his back-to-back 5 set, 6 hour wins in the semis and final of this year's Australian Open against Murray and Nadal, respectively. :???: Not even Federer could that one off.

Oh, and naturally both Isner and Mahut must be doping going 70-68 in the 5th set after several tiebreak sets, and of course both Tsonga and Raonic have to be doping going 25-23 in the final set and both looking fresh as a daisy. :???:

I'm not sure about you, but I've had to take a deuce during a match. And, when I took that bathroom break between 2nd and 3rd set, I came out a lot better. No doping. Just fresh. It's a biological function. Maybe if you're feeling like 'crap' during a match, you should try it sometime. I promise you wont be penalized for doping. :)

Everybody knows he just gets the blood samples from the twins. It's the perfect crime (and there's nothing like a nice blood sample to take the edge off a hyperactive toddler). Sometimes you have to know how to walk the fine line between hyperactivity and anemia.

Doubt it, Federer won't keep winning so much for much longer. What we see now is just a knee-jerk reaction. Once he starts losing again, *******s will be back to normal ( if such thing exists lol)
