Federer VS Nadal: In a different perspective

Yes but every time you do it, it is proof that you have really not gotten over:
"Unlucky, unlucky, oh yes," uncle Toni said. "If there wasn't Federer, perhaps Rafael would have been No. 1 for four years. But with Federer, that was impossible."
So you should watch it.

Back to bashing the man who's beaten Federer 8 times in majors? I'm not surprised.

Mustard...yeah people do bash Nadal for stupid reason.

This is not one of them....He regurarly goes past 26 seconds. Djokovic as well and other too.

What doesn't make sense...why go over 55 seconds just to serve....that too long.

Anyone who does this would get criticized even Federer. In Nadal case maybe more...since he has the biggest group of haters.

The umpire enforces the rules and they are allowed to use their own discretion.

Right, and the umpires deserve some of the blame in these situations. But take, for instance, Gonzalez at the 08 Olympics (I think it was) when he didn't admit a ball bounced off his leg and not his racquet. The umpire didn't see - and it was the umpire's call to make - but Gonzalez still showed poor sportsmanship by taking advantage of the umpire's poor umpiring. Just like Nadal shows poor sportsmanship when he routinely (not just after long, grueling rallies) takes too long to get ready, even to the point where he slows opponents down on their own serve.

Cuts both ways, actually. He also has the most incredible fans who worship the ground he walks on, and whose reaction to watching :) RNadal :) take 55 seconds to serve is that the ATP *must* change the rule and allow one full minute between serves, or this is all so unfair to :) RNadal :) who gets criticized for playing the way he wants to (besides, as Crissti would say, "It's not cheating, it's merely bending the rules"). So I guess this kind of evens things out...

And we're back to Flach/Seguso vs Leconte/Noah, US Open final, with Flach denying the ball had hit his hair on set point. The kind of spirit that some here seem to find "exemplary", proof of a champion's will to win at all cost, etc. To each his own, I guess...

Ok, Nadal does waste time but it's not like he goes 55 seconds for every freaking serve. It's an exception, just like Fed's one minute hold in that game. Plus, it's not like the majority of this forum doesn't know that Nadal is a slow server so I ask you, why the need for this thread?

Oh that's right, this is a forum of fedophiles and they felt the need to bash the guy that has given their guy the most heartache in his career. And this comes at a time when Nadal is out of the game for several months now.

Yep, they know, just too fun to troll sometimes I suppose.

Fact: Nadal takes too long on serves
Fact: You can't defend it
Fact: It's been happening his whole career and for an umpire to step in now and enforce it now is not easy
Fact: This video is hilarious

You would know, you know the period(too long for you I suppose) when Djokovic 2.0 was schooling Ralph.

Oh well it lasted only 1 year, unlike the 8 years of Ralph schooling Federer, hence why some of the most obsessive and lovesick of the ****s like yourself have turned into even bigger idiots and losers than what you probably originally were.

I hope Rafa takes more than 1 minute to serve and gets away with it next time he plays Federer.

I also hope he beats him in another epic. That never gets old. Too bad Fed fans can't look back on too many epic Fed victories over Nadal, only Wim 07, but Nadal was still a little boy at that time. Ever since the real Rafa showed up in 08 Fed hasn't been able to beat him in a major.

Majors h2h Rafa 8 - Fed 2.

LOL some goat, owned by a bad player who takes ages to serve...

Nadal is about to retire having been Rosol-ed so all the fanboys have left is to cite the H2H. How sad for them! Federer will be winning majors while Nadal is sitting on his couch watching him!

If in 5 years, Nadal is proven to be a rapist, you will probably still refer to his 8-2 record over Federer in slams.

Btw, Cap > Serena. It's all about the slam H2H buddy.
