Berdych vs. Wawrinka should be fun.

Especially if switzerland win the doubles. If They dont, i think itll be too tall an order for Stan.

I wonder if Roger would play next tie if Stan manages to win this. Esp. Since next round Will be austria or kazakhstan.

Legend
Excellent performance from John on his comeback! Was serving tremendously well with 32 aces!

"
If the 3,400 fans on hand thought that Querrey dominated with his serve, they were in for an even more dominant performance by Isner. The 6-foot-9 right-hander had 32 aces and 29 other serves that Alves was helpless to get back across the net.

“I always rely on my serve,” Isner said. “I wouldn’t have such a pretty good ranking if it wasn’t for my serve. I wasn’t as sharp in other facets of my game. It was certainly choppy out there at times. I littered up the stat sheet, for sure.”

SP saved by Wawa abut another SP for the CZechs.

Yaay, Wawa saves another SP on TB's serve.

Cheques take the first set in doubles. Go ROSOL !! :)

Such brilliant insight....how could tennis fans live without this fascinating information gleaned from player interviews?

Never mind, it's back on.

Had the same stream.

I root for the Swiss too. Partly because I love Stan, partly because I want Roger to compete for Switzerland in the Worldgroup.

I wonder if Federer's watching ;) It would be 3-0 now with 2 dead rubbers had he played :(

Yeah, Stan's gonna be mad at Fed if they lose :)

I also think Fed should have played this one, Berdych is great but Rosol is no Stepanek, this doubles team is definitely beatable (unlike Berdych-Stepanek which is just scary good) and Fed-Stan would have won IMO.

Even if we presume Fed would have lost to Berdych, he would have definitely beaten Rosol (or whomever they put against him).

Fed should have played. Particularly because they knew Stan can take care of either Austria or Kazakhstan on his own. What's the point of keeping them in the WG every year in october if you can keep them in in february?

Well Stan did mess it up against Kazakhstan few years ago (2010 I think?) but yeah overall I agree.

That said, I don't know in what state is Fed's body, maybe he's beaten up after 5 setters with Jo and Muzza.

Yeah well I'm going to Rotterdam so I want him to be healthy there, but if it was say San Jose, I'd take a DC tie over that.

Fed's playing Rotterdam this year? Awesome, I love watching Fed play indoors.
