Prince Beast Battle String

I spoke with an authorized PRINCE dealer today. He confirmed that Prince will be releasing the ESP racquets and a Graphite with hole grommets for the US open in August.

You probably already know this. I asked him about the supposed "BEAST BATTLE" string that is to be released at the same time. It is supposedly yellow in color.

He said that he has not heard of this string. I have looked for it online as well, Nothing.

Does anyone have any info, pics, release dates, confirmations of this string?

I was sent a test string by Prince earlier this year that is Yellow. It plays very similar to Beast, just a bit softer. They sent a 15 gauge so I can't compare it directly but I like it.

Same here. It is an interesting string. Yellow 15L. Soft, but that is strange since I find beast really pleasant.

How did you get them to send it to you? Do you have pictures of it? I use Beast 16g on a prince graphite EXO3 100.

I love beast. At first I thought it was all hype, but it is WAY better than the babolat pro hurricane I was using.

What string would you compare it to? Is it textured?

Thanks

I just got done stringing at the Easter Bowl all last week. Michael Mmoh went deep into the draw and I strung several frames for him. He is already using the new Prince ESP rebel 98 frame, which boasts a 16x16 pattern. The matching yellow Beast Battle string is 15gauge so as to counteract the fact that you would tear through string like crazy qith anything thinner. The frame felt great in my hand and the string did not seem too stiff either. One note: The racket had a ridiculously short handle, making it hard for me to fit two hands on the gripped portion of the racket.
