That is one ugly, dare I say FUGLY tennis racquet!!! I have the current Pro Staff 90 which I think is a rather classy looking stick but the pic you posted is a horrible aesthetic update if it is in fact true.
Wilson has done great with how they styled the Blade racquets, the Pro Staffs and Steams but this is truly a step backwards...hopefully its fake or their marketing department is lurking/watching quietly to get feedback!!!

Well whoever designed this, looks like a reverse Ncode paint job no? ncode has red where the white is on this racquet and white where the red is. Maybe they ran out of ideas?

Darklore009, your signature implies that Wilson changed the specs this year for the PSBLX90. Do tell...I didn't know that anything had changed from release in 2012.
If the new stick has a swing weight in the 333-336 range, I don't care what it looks like
. Actually, it could be worse...like yellow or pink. Have to admit I'm not a fan of gold.

Thanks - as long as the job at wilson includes at least half the time "testing" the racquets on court .... I'm in!!!

Reminds me of NCode which was the most beautiful Federer 90. Except they threw so much gold on it and made it look like a cheap KO.

its for the people that have to have a new racket so when you see them on the court, you can clearly tell the have the newest racket (even though its really the same old racket)

the "PROSTAFF" will be a line in itself.... if you notice federer is on the tag but looks like his signature is not. this will no longer be the best seller once federer switches racquets. it will sell to the guys that love the lineage.

Not at all. Babolats actually look good.
I can't imagine Wilson is releasing this. The gold lines look like they were drawn on by hand. No way will it be that sloppy.

I'm pretty sure ALL the Tour 90s have always been braided graphite and kevlar. It's just that some of them also threw some other "stuff" into the mix, like the HPS Tour 90 had some HyperCarbon in it, the nCode 90 had some silicon dioxide molecules in it, and the BLX90 had some basalt in it.

I hope that they make another prostaff 95 frame. I'm tired of these overpowered- no feel racquets that are on the market today. Give me a midplus size box beam and I'm happy.

The 95 is still 11 oz unstrung. The PWS has a new feature that allows you to add weight using tungsten which is not toxic like lead tape. That's about all that is different from the 2012 version.

Really don't get Wilson's fascination with gold. Doesn't even compliment the other dominant colors at all. The stripes at 3/9 almost seem like something they just decided to put there just to make it less NCode like. But if they ditched the stripes and used a colour other than gold it wouldn't be too bad.
