Give up on the Tennis Channel, the channel with lots of old reruns and matches few care about except parents and friends...
Some folks on this site tipped us off to another TV channel that's carrying the entire Qatar tournament. See if you can get access to it (it's free with a lot of different cable providers):

FERRER IS PPLAYING BRANDS. AND RAFA IS SAYING HE WILL MOST LIKELY LOSE SINCE THE COURT AT AUSTRALIAN OPEN IS SO FAST THIS YEAR, HE HAS NO CHANCE.
BUT ANYHOW, THANK YOU SO MUCH. LET ME KNOW HOW I CAN REPAY MY DEBT TO YOU. AND YOU ARE THE BEST POSTER EVER IN HISTORY OF TENNIS TALK FORUM

Really? How does he know the court conditions of Australia when he's in Doha? I am not doubting you, just wondering.

I am just telling you what I heard on that channel for Doha. Konig and the other guy was commenting on RAFA not happy with court speed in aussie open 2014...
That match between Berdych and Karlovic is the worst match of the tournament (so far).
Monfils's Daniel Brand's pigeon ??? and Jan Micheal Gambill looking like Hall of Fame commentator right now....Amazing.......
Didn't see it but I'm guessing it was a boring servefest with Berdych making too many errors with his groundstrokes, especially in the important moments.
Whatever, I'm sure Nadal would beat prime Hewitt (he actually got straight setted in the round before by him), Nalbandian (ends here), Ferrero and Safin in succession on a medium paced hard court.
Brands backhand
But anyway, that's not the point of discussion here, the point is Federer in 2004 AO form would lose to Nadal in USO 2013 form. Simple as that.
Looking at the h2h Hewitt actually isn't an easy match-up for Nadal, he only leads 6-4 but Hewitt is 3-1 up on HC and won the sole grass meeting.
Point is you think that 2013 US Open Nadal beats everyone in history so no point arguing here.:mrgreen:
Btw past-his-prime Hewitt played Nadal tough twice on clay (he's actually one of the few players to take a set off of him at the FO), once almost beat him in Hamburg in 2007 so based on this logic should we assume that prime Hewitt would give him a hard time?

I don't think you've ever seen Nalbandian in his prime, he was an outstanding player. If it wasn't the semis or finals of a big tournament he was a tough cookie and the dude also isn't an easy match-up for Nadal who got owned by him in the first 2 meetings and should've lost in another 2 when Nalby was past his prime (both times in IW).
Wasn't that the pre W of 2009? I recall it was part of the reason Nadal pulled out of the W at the last minute as a defending champion.
Yep Brands leads 3-0, the three matches were played last year
