I never got down with the maxim touch. Full bed was OK but always seemed to go back to biphase. now that crap is like mad expensive.
Gut is pretty sweet.
One of those Ti-80s I bought came with gut/PHT. played pretty well, but tension was too low for me with that frame.
Im scared to try Gut/Black Code because the black eats through my Bi Phose so fast im scared it wont last.

Maxim touch mains are playing great for me. Poly crosses play amazing for an hour but then notch and dont get the same spin.
im thinkin bout trying string savers byt I should prolly just try full maxim.
want to try bkack zone cuz it would be $2 per half set!

It's constantly changing haha I usually sell what I'm not using but I'll snap a photo. I think I have 3 q5x's, 2 7g's, 1 ki5x, 2 pure storm tours, 2 technifibre tfight 325, poglb, poglb that's chopped, some pure drives, bunch of head prestige classics? There are definitely more - just can't think of them now.

im going crazy trying to find the right strings for the blade. hybrids feel great but not enough control for my delpo forehand winner attempts. no full poly has played well for more than 1 outing.
just want to forget about the 1billion string varieties and focus on my fitness and technique.

I did a little research. I've played 3 matches for our 4.5 team, all of them doubles, and all of them vs. 4.0s. No offense to any 4.0s out there, but if I don't start getting some competition soon, I'm going to get crushed at Districts.
On the positive side, I'm playing in a tournament this weekend at Rock Creek Park, so hopefully there are some good players.

I use that one all the time when the regular PM thunderstorms arrive which is pretty much this week, a month earlier than normal.
I'm starting 5.0 league next month. Many opponents have won Open tournaments...can't wait.

anyone tried out the Steam 99s? Was thinking about picking one up used and trying it out? is it low powered and is it really crazy spin?
Was thinking about needing a reason to get rid strings I don't like besides selling it or trading it for something that I'll end up selling again. =P
Was thinking about trying the VCore Xi 100 as well. Really like the Ai100, it's really predictable but needs lead to increase swingweight. The racquet is amazingly stable and easily cuts through the air (ahem... easy to swing with) for it's head size/weight.
McLovin: Them PK's are still going but not as strong as I am getting weaker.. I need to get some of them Spinach in your diet to get your Popeye Forearms.
Speaking of Spinach and other healthy foods that i tend to avoid, what's for lunch?

They're having a demo special now @ TW: $1 demo for their spin frames (see http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/tradeinspin.html ). They have two packages: The 'pro wannabe' and the 'pu$sy hacker' (may not be the actual package names, but I'm its something similar).
I ordered the 'extreme hacker' for my wife as she commented the other day about maybe trying some new frames. It has the Juice 100S and the three Steam 'Spin Effect' models. They are also offering a trade-in program for a Spin Effect frame. Not sure how this compares to TW's trade-in program, though.

Can't speak for the Steam but the Tour 100T ESP just has some crazy spin if you get the right strings in it. I played a guy Sunday and I can't tell you how many errors he made when I had to hit a floating defensive chop back to him.
