Ivanišević said:i was just wondering where will federer be in five years.. he would still be "young" and without injuries-he could still play great!
that's very optimistic!Surecatch said:He'll have about 16-17 slams by then.
but he'll be just 25 years old! almost like fed today.juani said:IMO, in 5 years, Nadal isn't gonna be in top 5 cos injuries problems. He's punishing his body, taking it to the limit. With all this punishment his body is not gonna last long.
british people tend to overrate him.Watcher said:I should think that in a few years, Berdych will certainly be in the top ten if not five.
People are WAY overrating Murray.

I don't think he'll stick around much unless he is the king or has a chance to
be the king.
Anyway, here are the ranking 5 years ago. Check where they are now...
None of these guys are in top 10 right now. I don't think even Federer
would be in top 10 in 5 years.

Chill down man. Only one of your post is more than enough to show us that you're a *******.cuddles26 said:Nadal at 25 wont be anywhere near as physicaly able as Fed was at 25. He will be lucky to be anywhere near the top 5 at 25 with his game style.
Fed has been No. 1 for about 3 years now. I don't think he'll keep it up for the next 5 years. Heck, I don't even think Nadal would be No. 1 in the next 5 years. He might be No. 1 soon, but probably not in the next 5 years.Kobble said:Who knows. Federer and Nadal should be a lock. Nothing has really stabilized in the top 10 yet. Blake will have to settle in to stay in the top five. Plenty of guys have the game, it is just a matter of who matures, and how they do it.

Nadal will be retired with burnout or injury or be ranked in the 20s already burnt out to play at a high enough level anymore.
He has a better chance to be #1 5 years from now then Nadal will have to be in the top 3, or maybe even the top 5, 5 years from now. People who play like Fed are typicaly close to their best, as long as they stay motivated, until 30-32. People with Nadal's are lucky to win their last slam title at 25, with his stressful and wearing game, Nadal #1 in the World in 5 years, ROTFL!! helloworld=nadalgirl26 probably.
I see very young slam champions next 2-3 years.
Kinda like when Courier,Chang,Agassi, Sampras brokes the scene
together within 2-3 year of time frame.

So Blake will still be playing his power game at 36 years of age?Lleyton Hewitt said:no order
Nadal Gasquet Ancic Baghdatis Hewitt Federer Djokovic Monfils Murray Blake
I think Nadal will be number 1
