UPDATED TROPHY CASE - Correct up to the end of the AO. A Weeks at Number 1 table and a table for US Open Series Champions have been added. The weeks at No. 1 table is still being updated. US Open Series Champions are those who have collected the most points in the North American summer hard court season (i.e. from Washington up to the US Open).

:eek::eek:. Well that's a bloody shock! Haha. Can't see myself holding up for long. I had a horror of a 2016 where I crashed out of like the top 40. On the plus side, I have no points to defend in Rotterdam and Rio and besides Jlyon, i'm the only top 20 player to have no points to defend at the French Open!

How do you work out the weeks at number 1?

You're kinda like Federer. A horrible 2016 and then boom an amazing start to 2017.

Long process - I've been totting up weeks just by working backwards and seeing who held the spot when. This involved calculations with current and past spreadsheets (going tournament by tournament for any changes). Still a long way to go, the data only reflects the last year so far.

Winning your home Slam has saved you - catapulted from 30th to 15th in the rankings after that! A good French Open run and you'll be right in the mix at the top I suspect

Also: in the highly, highly, highly unlikely event of your entire country pick receiving a W/O, your Back-Up pick will be used - should you bother to make one :)

I remember @Aussie Darcy complaining so many times last year about how he lost in the first round. And now he is on top of the world.
HAHAHAHA. I'm such a whinger.
But seriously though, last year I lost 1R in 4 straight tournaments: Sydney, Aus Open, Rotterdam, Rio. Also, French Open, Queens, Washington, Canada, Cincy, Basel and Paris! I made just 2 finals (Acapulco and Madrid). Ha.

First tie has started, so no more picks accepted from this point on I'm afraid.

That doesn't seem fair at all, because when doing the regular SDL you can pick players who haven't yet started their match, even if several others had been completed earlier in the day. Not to mention the time difference with these ties hardly seems fair at all to impose a rule like that. Really ****ty rule, if you ask me. I mean Australia playing the Czech republic in Melbourne, are like 16+ hours ahead of Eastern time in the states, that's nearly an entire ****ing day....

I vote to overturn this rule, because it's really not fair to those that live in other time zones.

Well it's 2 votes to 0 so I won't hang around - the rule will be overturned and for @Tennis sensation and anyone else, there's still a few hours left to make a pick then (not that there's much choice now).

As it happens, you have a point I guess. But really, this concern should have been voiced before. Look at Rule No. 2 in previous years' threads:
