Okay so there are two players I like from the next gen.
Hyeon Chung- Baby shadow Djoker.
Tsits- Baby Shadow Fedr.

They are leading the way in keeping enjoyable tennis alive.

Some other personal favorites:

Kozlov – a baby Santoro with a lesser serve.
Fritz – a baby PETE with less tennis talent and more dashing looks.
Ruud – a baby Rafaello but even further out of the television frame when he returns serve.

Connoisseurs' choice.

Wait, there’s someone who stands further behind than Rafa?? He must be out of the stadium!

Goatsipas strikes again! FOUR top 10 players now downed in pursuit of his 1st Masters 1000 final. "Tough draw, what tough draw?"

Last time a player beat 4 top 10 players in a row was Tsonga at 2014 Toronto and he only needed to beat 4 in order to win the title. Goatsipas most likely must take down a 5th and the world #1 to boot in order to complete his fairytale run at this event. Can he do it?

Lovers of fairytales everywhere are kinda hoping this one will have the perfect ending! :)

Tennis can be really cruel sometimes.

Tsitsi has gone through an insane draw that definitely showcases he deserves to win this title. Many players have had to do much less to win a masters title.

And yet, Nadal, who has had a much easier road, will clobber him and he will get the trophy instead :(

Let's not call him Tipsy. Reminds me of Tipsarevic who in his dreams would not achieve what Tsits has done. :D

Oh yea it is similar to his Tipsarevic. I may have to abandon that one but there are quite a few nicknames I have lined up for Tsitsi. That's just one of them. :)

I hope Tsitsipas skips Cincy and has a good USO campaign. QF is a real possibility for him. Would be hilarious if in just one season, he equaled Zverev's best slam results.

I like the kid. He has a good game and he doesn't break down under pressure but don't expect him to match this run anytime soon. This is a one off for now. He will rise again for sure but not so much in the next few tournaments.
The matches he played aren't enough to conclude that he will be consistent from now onwards. I would love to be proven wrong though.
I don't think a win against Thiem on HCs even say anything about you. The Djoker win was largely because of Novak's low level. Z was dominating before his level dropped considerably. Tsits got tired in the 3rd against Z but kudos to him that he was clutch enough to finish it off. This Kandy win was a really close affair too. Could have gone either way.

So basically what I am saying is that don't overhype the kid already. I am not trying to discredit him in any way. This is a valiant effort on his behalf and he has my respect.

If he beats Bull tomorrow then I will be sure that a star has arrived finally.

He hasn't arrived yet, but he doesn't need to beat Nadal to prove himself right now. He has already done it.

Novak was never a claycourter. When he was young he hit the ball pretty hard.

Tsitsipas moonballs and hits with zero pace much of the time.
So Novak is not a great clay court player today or 8 years ago?
What about him being RU and 2012, 2014, 2015 FO & champ in 2016?
He took out Nadal in 2011 at Madrid and Italian Open

Absolutely but if he beats Nadal tomorrow then this run will be a different thing altogether for me personally.
It would mean that the kid can adjust mid match and that's a champion's mark.
He isn't that big a hitter or server to trouble Nadal the way others do so he will need to grind it out for him to win. So if he does win against Bull then it would mean something else for me personally.

He played like 8 hours in the last 3 days. Honestly he's gonna melt vs Rafa. He's gonna go for his shots, turn into an error machine, and that will be that.

Yes, true, but his run has already been unique. Even if Nadal wins, it will still not be as impressive as Tsitsipas's run. I will not fault Tsitsi after what he has had to endure.

It would be painful to watch him go out like that after such an impressive run but it is what is. I won't blame him for that. This kid is brave though. I would like to see him atleast try his best which he will unlike the many other players who are just afraid of Fedalovic.

Yes sure. I am not going fault him either. I am 95% sure he is going to lose against Rafa. He isn't good enough to beat an inform Nadal. If a firing Cilic couldn't do it then this kid won't. Unlike the others, Nadal's gonna exploit his slow paced shots and there's always the high into the BH strategy.

Amazing run by Tsitsipas.

Would be amazed if he beat Nadal, but I haven't seen Rafa play yet this tournament. How is he looking?

Octo says he is looking handsome as ever. Tennis wise I think he is playing alright. Good enough to beat these kids in straights unless one of them peaks in which case he will win in three sets.

There's only one thing I want to do when all young players are referred to as babies
