Man, the ‘09 AO final. What a match. My favourite all time. Just sad the fifth set wasn’t tighter.

All these are fantastic points. Physical and beautiful.

But mine will ALWAYS be something a bit more simple, and yet complex in the grand scheme of things.

Hint :

"Ohhhh....... that backhand down the line, must be the shot of the decade. It's an amazing, technically proficient, piercing blow".

I remember this particular point crushed any hope I had that Rafa was going to win that final. He threw everything but a kitchen sink at Roger in the course of this point, and it still wasn't enough. Roger just refused to go away...

Roger again - breaking Roddicks heart with a counter smash. Andy took aim at Fed with his Pure Drive but wasn't as accurate.

Federer has the best backhand overhead I've ever seen.

His overhead is also very good. Able to place it even on deep, tough lobs.

To be fair to Nadal, he served an ace literally the next point after that to wipe out the BP. Both Federer and Nadal didn’t let the “epic points” from 09 and 17 get them down, which is credit to them

Remember watching this live on TV.

Considering the stakes (Nadal was MP down) and taking into consideration that monstrous roar one of the most epic clay points ever.

The point after the famous tweener isn't a great point, but for pure "F*CK YEAH" energy, it's up there. Must have felt soooo satisfying. The fact the commentator called it beforehand as well is great.

Courtside, it looks like a cruise missile:
