WOW! These must be the ugliest tennis shoes ever made! Good job Adidas! 
I'm still hoping they'll realize the mistake and come up with more decent looking shoes. The only reasonable part I can subscribe to is the sole.
I'm running out of my SoleMatch which already have a strange design with that "ledge" hanging out the outside of the soles, and the too short and tight lacing system. And the Ubers 4's made for junior feet probably in terms of how narrow they are.
Looks like after 30+ years of using Adidas tennis shoes, time is close to a switch.

What was so good about the old barricade. it was way too Heavy and way too uncomfortable. also cushioning was way too hard. Pros wore it because it had one of the best support bar none, and professional ATP tour players need that.

Keep your money. There is no carbon fiber anywhere on this shoe. It's just made to look like that.

how do you know that ? did you get one and cut it up in 1/2 and see inside ? That's the only way to see for sure. If Thiem and Tsisipas was willing to switch to this shoes,, Stability must be Insane good. i will tell you that

To be honest I never wore any so have no idea how they felt on the feet, I'm just going on aesthetics which I know isn't everything but at the end of the day I'm not gonna buy a shoe I don't like the look of either. I just like the look of the old barricade's considerably more than any other shoe.

I'd actually just recently been looking at older Andy Murray pictures to see his adidas clothing which I really liked but forgot how much I loved his barricades too, they were so nice and in any colour really. Even the bright green ones which I'd never usually be a fan of. You know the design is damn good when you'd be happy with it in any colour.

Adidas just raised their level by creating the carbon fiber shank paintjob to fool their customers“TPU” shank. Not a mystery. No carbon fiber.
Asics is in another league right now.

Do you think those shoes will get person qualified to be serious player ? I see that gear and stroke over analyzing is what most park players like to bla-bla-bla about, ones who start playing after 45yo. One guy I know in 50 plays perfect in them and he played National in 80th plus he is not a big runner after hip surgeries, but I smell bad feedback from some guys. I think Jimmy Connors played with them ??

They most likely won’t. Leather and those flat cup soles are things of the past in athletic shoe designs, and are used for looking cool nowadays.

OMG, is this shoes sent from heaven ?? If this shoe is 14 oz or lighter, it is basic PERFECTION. But i am afraid it will be heavier than 15 oz which will prohibit me from buying it

GR8’s are better than past Barricades in every way—looks, support, cushioning. Wore barricades on and off since 2005, and now I prefer the FF2’s since they’re a better fit and more cushioned for me. after owning the GR8’s, I like them much better than any Barricade.

That’s what I’m waiting to hear. The Gel resolution raised the bar, and Nike and Adidas have failed to surpass Asics. Asics is killing it and I love all their shoes, big shoes(no pun intended) for this new barricade to fill.
