@Babolast have you seen anything in the catalog that would suggest a CA custom shoe/PE actually hitting the market?
It will never happen. Custom shows are custom for a reason, they fit one person only and are for one person. Plus it would require Nike to produce a high quality shoe on a large scale, and since 2013 that has sadly not been possible.

Ya I share your cynicism but thought it’d be worth an ask. They 9.5 reissue gave my some hope for changes but probably unfounded hope

Best pic weve seen. Clearly a midsole/outsole of the VP1. Upper sock bootie VP1. All other upper tooling is 1:1 custom including that fit frame
The foot frame on the lateral side is different on CA's version vs the VP1. I wonder if that is more due to CA's personal preference or is it to copy the VP11 design slightly closer

I bet they worked with him to make the PJ more believable. to your point, its much closer to the v11 that vp1 foot frame, still 1:1 custom

these shoes look so much cooler in these photos. Also how did you get these, I honestly would get these in a heartbeat. The drag guard looked like wax in other pictures, shows to e vp2 drag guard instead. honestly how did you get them!!! the chassey is simalar to vp11 and the whole upper is vpll material. Also does anybody agree with me that the vp1 would be even etter with zoom x foam?

I have never used zoomx, what can you compare it too?

Zoom X is underrated. I remember owning two-three pairs of the Zoom Turbo Pegasus 2 with the Zoom X foam which was very comfortable. Too bad the foam itself from the heel started to crack then broke

Oh ok, I feel nike has been too experimental with shoes. They should have 2 flagship, 1 experimental and the most loved of the experimental turn in to a flagship and one budget. This many shoes is wayy too many.
Idk how long you been playing but back then they used to have 2 flagship shoes with budget friendly models to follow under each flagship shoes. Then came in a third flagship model which made sense giving people more options. But I do agree there are way more models than needed. What they do get right, is to cut an existing model to replace with a brand new one. (I.e. Zoom NXTs to the new GP Challenge 1/Pros)

Well they obvoiusly should that is just common sense. Also there is no need for all this tinkering across all of the models and use one model to see how much the new technology is recieved, also they pros have to be on board. WIthout the pros they sales will be nowhere near as good as they would be if they have the pros wearing them.

Zoom x foam is used in running shoes and although I have not played in it, the foam is very responsive and adds crazy response in running shoes. I think this would make up for no zoom air in forefoot and keep the low profile of the vapor pro without raising it up to fit a whole zoom air bag like the vapor pro-2. Honestly really good update that I would use. It's basically the foam version of zoom air I believe, maybe even more response.
