An awesome year would be as follows:

AO: Federer beats Djokovic in the final
FO: Federer beats Nadal in the final
Wimby: Federer beats Murray in the final
USO: Federer beats Delpo in the final

If Fed can achieve a calendar slam I really think maybe he should just retire after the USO. I'm half joking obviously because I think if he does somehow get all four this year (meaning he'll have 19 total) he should go for the all time singles GS titles record currently held by Graf. But it would be sublime if he did retire after achieving a calendar slam.

Anyway, I know this isn't likely but it is within the realm of possibility and the fact that each of his main rivals is pretty much in their prime now it would make the achievement that much more special.

That's a huge if. I honestly can see Federer winning max 2 slams, and they would be AO and Wimby (much bigger shot at Wimbledon).

I'd be happy if he won only one in 2010 (as long as he doesn't have any major upsets or heartbreaking losses )

I have Federer winning another 2-3 as well, but "max" I would say is a bit strong. When you have a player player with Federer's ceiling, the last thing you want to do is underestimate him.

I think he has a chance to do all 4 slams. HIGHLY unlikely, but still the best chance of anyone on tour. I would like to see him meet Nadal at all four slams. I'd be ecstatic if that happened.

Federer has a good chance at three of the four slams, IMO. He's not gonna win the French Open without winning 3-4 nailbiters, and with his luck last year I doubt he will win each one, although he will obviously be more relaxed what with his win in '09.

I say he wins one slam, MAYBE two in 2010, but I doubt it.

An awesome year would be if:

1. Haas finally reaches the final at the AO after being a semi-finalist three times. He gives Fed trouble in the finals as he did in the FO semis. Fed should win, of course.

2. Fed beats Nadal in the FO final.

3. Roddick and Henin finally win Wimbledon.

4. Haas wins the US Open. hehe
