Anderson played at a similar level as Cilic is playing today....Nadal was just supreme that week
Ciloc is here to play..
Those times are long gone, lost in the mists of history.
nobody better compare this to anderson/nadal.
LOLLLLLLAnderson played at a similar level as Cilic is playing today....Nadal was just supreme that week
Fed just doesn't have any intensity, totally opposite to how he was in the final last year against a superior opponent. He's so nervous and tight... bizarre.Ominous feeling
Anderson played at a similar level as Cilic is playing today....Nadal was just supreme that week
Yeah, most obtuse remark in the entire thread. Cringe worthy.LOLLLLLL
What has Nadal to do with this match?Puta Madre
Oh sorry, that would be Nadal
Yeah sure. Cilic here actually believes, the same could not be said about Anderson in USO 17. Don't even try to compare the two.
I was talking about winning the whole match...
Up against Fed that couldn't hit one single big FH in the tiebreak and made two doublefaults when he serve to stay in the 2nd set. He's too tense and letting Cilic dictate the match.
I hope I'm wrong but I'd bet on Cilic right now.
where did that tension come from? like sighh fed
Cilic looking to be just the second player to beat both Nadal and Fed at a slam after DelPo? Correct?
Forget the beer, we need to bring out the Bacardi 151.I need a beer.....
Cilic has produce some Djokovic like returns late in the second set and a few here also. He he getting the balls deep into Federer's feet, forcing him to take a step back when he hits his forehand. Looks like he has take something from the Novak play book along...
Delpo has 10 times the mental strength of Cillic and 15 times as much heart. Not to mention a bigger forehand and a better backhand .
Fed is the better player in this match. He's going to get this in 4 sets likely. Cillic can only redline so much..
Nobody did except Nadal fans. It's not even in the same ballpark.
Fed never got that easy of an opponent in slam final. Often mentioned Bagdathis was taking it to Fed in 2006 AO final before running out of gas.
What has Nadal to do with this match?
He's 36. Slam final opportunities are few and far between, each one could be his last.
Third.Cilic looking to be just the second player to beat both Nadal and Fed at a slam after DelPo? Correct?
Cilic is playing very well.

Don't forget Nadal was in full flight during the US open finals. He smashed Rublev and Del Potro. Same can't be said about Fed's level. Berdych was just his mug self, falling apart when serving for the 1st then never mentally recovering before getting injured and the less said about Chung the better.
