Best light (< 305 gr), powerfull and armfriendly racket

I have both the Prince Warrior TexTreme 107T and the Wilson Steam 99LS. The Prince is my main racket, it's light and plays solid. 107 head size has its advantage and disadvantages but each their own. The 99LS is totally different from the 99S, as the 99LS is less stiff and feels much lighter.

these qualities do tend to contradict. you can have light armfriendly and control, but it wont have power.

Prince Tour 100T (not the textreme and not the ESP).
It is very discounted nowadays too (less than $100 ??). A steal IMO.

Check the reviews. Textreme is stiffer than the previous version. I think it is not more powerful as far as I understand but has better 'feel'. I used the previous version and it has a nice plush feel and it is a joy to swing with confidence. Textreme feels more connected and jumpy I guess. They both have feel, but it is different. I wouldn't pay double to get almost nothing in return, just my opinion.

gotcha. I own the textreme and I'm pretty fond of it for a light racquet. havent tried the previous generation 100T though.

Forgot to say that the textreme might be more stable as actually the material update is for that purpose as far as I understand. But for people below advanced levels shouldn't make much difference I guess.
How do you find your txt in terms of stability? If it feels substantially more stable than the previous version, it is a great update. Still not sure it's worth paying double price though. Difference is possibly not much as some TW testers didn't find the newer textreme as stable as desired. Slight customization of the previous Tour 100T would make it more stable and even more comfortable with added SW.

It seems that they are almost identical hence producing similar power and stability. I guess the only difference is feel (or stiffness).

Pure Strike 16x19 is right at that weight with decent power, but it's kind of a weird hit. You get used to it and it's pleasant. No arm problems.

Prince made Prince Textreme warrior 100TX which has thinner beam (20-22-20mm), armfriendly (stiffness around 60) and power (Prince power level:1200).
I thought it's impossible too but Prince created this new racket. Very interesting but Only available in Asia.

I wouldn't call Ezone 100 and Vcore 100 racquets arm friendly. I understand it is for people coming from very stiff racquets or for who can tolerate it, but they are still harsh for people who look for real soft and comfortable racquets.

Great choice , it has all of that: light < 305 gr, powerfull, armfriendly + it has great control for 100" 16x19 racquet.

Blade98s 2015 (very flexy,powerfull)
all arm-friendly, powerfull(especially blade) and good all round
my favorite 100" 300g is Yonex DR100, great mix of power/spin/control/feel/maneuverability

Wilson ProStaff 97LS is probably best overall balance of characteristics. Has good control and lots of pop. Not as much spin as Prince Tour 100T ESP but it has a more normal launch angle. Feedback from frames phenomenal and it plays soft for its 67 flex. 97LS has "double hole" grommets so that you get some of the softness of Prince ports without the change/loss of feel. Super stable for its weight.

First post is not correct. You can't have a light racquet that has very good control unless both players have light racquets and are below advanced levels.
Maybe not a good analogy but think that you're shooting with a beach ball or volleyball to make a basket. Is it possible to have a good control in your shot compared to a real basketball? Certainly not. The heavier the racquet, the better control it has provided you can handle it. But still it is all relative, imagine a 10 year old playing with another 10 year old where both are not creating heavy balls and both can only swing light racquets and they can have a perfect world among them. That world is balanced and their light racquets have good control. Until an 18 year old with a heavier racquet plays with one of them and the 10 year old will see s/he has no control with the light racquet while playing against better and stronger players.

- But my first starting point is to select a racket with a weight I can max. handle...and that one must be a little lighter as my London! Therefore I choose 305 gram!
To generate the same (or more) power I must generate more racketspeed..Maybe that is possible with a racket that is a little less in weight..
And maybe I do not loose to much control because a light racket is easier to move..
I second that choice though it while it has decent power depending upon the user I would not call it "powerful", very comfy with good spin/control

I agree with this. For some reason the 97LS tends to get overlooked, which is a shame as it is a great frame.

QTour is more powerful, quicker, has bigger sweet spot.
London is heavier and less maneuverable, but has better plow through.
Both are very comfortable racquets.

Played this weekend with the Q tour 295..
Feels soft but the London have indeed more plow through but "also" more power.
Same multi strings (msv soft touch) at 22/21 kg.
So I am still searching for a armfriendly (300 gram) racket with more power and plow trough as my London...
Sounds like London is your racket. Not sure if you can find more plow-through and arm-friendliness in a 300 g frame. Very solid option.
