Best Poly to Soften Stringbed in Poly-Poly Hybrid

Poly tour pro strung low 40s is really ball great. Anyone that’s used PTP and ghost wire want to tell me which you preferred and why?

Whats the point of those strings in crosses instead of full bed 4G?

To soften the stringbed. Full bed of 4G is a bit rough for my elbows in a stiff frame like Pure Strike at 55+ lbs.
