If Fed wins WTF this year, he would have won 9 of 13 tournaments participated (69.2 %) . Fed in 2006, won 12 of 17 tournaments played (70.6 %)

Djokovic won 11 of 16 tournaments played ( 68.7 %) in his best year 2015. In 2011, he won 10 of 15 tournaments (66.7%)

Rafa won 11 of 21 tournaments played ( 52.4 % ) in 2005 and 10 of 17 (58.5%) n 2013

It is crazy to see Fed at 36 having better tournaments hits than Nadal and Djokovic at their best.

PS: Please don't ask why Laver Cup is included.

I remember reading that the ATP rankings of the first few years where based in that premise, i.e., efficiency more than sum of points. This was detrimental to Vilas in 1977 who played lots of tournaments.

This is irrelevant because he skipped 40% of the season. This year he played 3 slams out of 4 and 4 masters out of 9. If he played clay he would have lost more.

Why Rafa is pathetic in this metric when Fed has been able to repeat it several times ?
Why does Nadal need it? What he achieved was enough to ruin the lives of 80% of the people on this forum. Look, it's 2017 already and yet nothing changed: instead of being happy for Federer's two slam season, most Federer fans are being mad about Nadal achieving the same.

It's not the Fed fans who are mad about Nadal's success this year. It's the fans of the GOAT who are mad about it. They see it as a threat to their lord's GOAThood.
