A star is born!
From this ranking system, I can tell better the current tour players ability to win over any opponents! Bouchard is #88 while Sara Errani is #72!Bianca Andreescu, on the 4th position in the Elo rankings:
---
Current Elo ratings for the WTA tour. This list includes only those players who have completed 20 or more tour-level, tour-level qualiyfing, men's challenger, or ITF $50K+ matches in the last 52 weeks.
Unlike the official rankings, Elo ratings give credit for who you play, not the round or tournament in which you play them. You can find more details on tennis Elo ratings here.
A 100-point difference in Elo ratings implies that the favorite has a 64% chance of winning; 200 points implies 76%, 300 points implies 85%, 400 points implies 91%, and 500 points implies 95%. The overall rating ("Elo") doesn't consider surface, and the surface-specific ratings ("Hard" etc.) are based solely on matches played on a single surface.

Roland Garros for sure but other lead in tournaments is ??!Any news when she is going to play again?
Shoulder injury looks like a longer time to heal! Maybe U.S. Open time?
Bianca is now 32-4 this year. Is it the best record in WTA?
She was just warming up and was being polite to a Canadian sister. If you want to see what should normally happen between them, watch 2015 Wimbledon final.I thought she was rusty because Bouchard nearly beat her, but seems I’m wrong!

What a dream tournie it would be for her if she could out-drama the mother of all drama queens (Serena) in the final!
Let the drama begin!
I'd love to see Serena lose to her and call her a 'drama queen' like Kerber did.
That would be so sweet.
Kerber called her a drama Queen after losing to her twice in a week and the moniker stuck. Apparently Bianca is so committed to the cause of injury fakery that she took four months off just to fool everyone into believing she had a serious shoulder injury.
She's a teenager, and as with many of the teens on the ATP they're still very immature in A LOT of ways. Having a spotlight shone on your life at that age wouldn't be pretty for most people. I think you're nit-picking just a tad with the likes of the headphones. Andreescu wouldn't even make my top 10 favourites so I really have no allegiance to her but also she really hasn't riled me up in any way (period).Let me help you out in understanding me and the others here.
None of us are questioning her legitimate shoulder injury.
Next.
The drama. It is multi-faceted.
The injury timeout to treat her leg could be considered a form of 'drama'.
We just don't know yet. Let's see what she does in the coming months/years.
The drama she displays on court now every match is real.
And quite frankly, the more I see of it the more it is starting to annoy me even, as a fan of hers.
I can now understand what Kerber was talking about.
At the time I thought it might be just sour grapes for her losses, but
now I see it is real and not very pleasant to have to witness.
Yes Andreescu is very emotional, and she makes no attempts to hide this.
But it is her attitude that is not very flattering.
It's like, "Here I am, this is my home, I'm expecting to win, and if I lose a point or things are not going
my way, I will fake smashing my racket on the ground, or into the net to show my displeasure
and everyone in the crowd will know exactly how disgusted I am, or was with my last shot.
I will bend over, take my time to catch my breath and everyone can watch me.
I will enter the court wearing headphones because it makes me look SO cool."
I like her game/talent a lot, but you want to know something?
I can do without all the DRAMA!
Maybe I'm just a picky fan? Maybe others feel the same way?
And BTW, I hope she crushes Serena in the final!
I wish we could have seen a real match between them - not that the championship is totally without glory for Andreescu, who put in a sensational week of tennis.
