Djokovic is a 2 time winner at Wimbledon, is defending champion and is world #1 so of course he is going to be the favourite with the bookmakers and almost everybody else. It would be very strange if he wasn't!
Of course, as we know only too well, being favourite with the bookies does not guarantee that you will win.

I'm sure you know this too well since Murray was hyped by the British Media. They had Murray the favorite at the slams but Murray came up short many times.

He should be the favorite in every slam honestly. However keep this in mind, he was logically a much bigger favorite in RG than he will be in Wimbledon yet he still managed to lose.

After Murray had won a series of matches against Federer, Nadal and Djokovic in 2008, some over-enthusiastic media types kept touting him to be the favourite to win 2009 AO! Both Federer and Djokovic (who was the defending champion) made sarcastic remarks about this. Federer said, "If you wish to consider him the favourite, fine, but I don't think it will help him much!" He was right, it didn't. The unwanted pressure almost certainly hindered Murray's search for his first Slam title rather than helped.
But what I really meant is that being touted as the favourite doesn't really do anybody any favours. Nadal always hated the kind of pressure it put on him, especially at RG, which is why he always tried to pretend he was somehow the underdog. It worked for him and, as we just saw at RG, being the widely considered favourite did nothing to help ensure that Djokovic won it!

Djokovic has been the favorite at every slam since his fabulous 2011 run but the reality is since 2011 he has won 4 out of 14 slams. That is 28%. That is a lousy percentage especially given the fact that Federer is an old man and Nadal has been out with injuries a lot during that time and his overall form has been horrible for over a year. Djokovic should be winning every slam under those conditions.
Will he win Wimbledon? Maybe, but it is far from a certainty if we look at his slam results since 2011. Add to that the fact that the last time a player defended the Wimbledon title was Federer in 2007 (Federer won five straight titles from 2003-2007) but Federer is the king of Wimbledon along with Sampras. Djokovic is not as proficient as Federer/Sampras were on grass.
A lot will depend on the draw as usual.

Murray is not a head case. He has had a very strong year thus far at the biggest events and he is close to being able to beat Djokovic again (he was close to doing it at the FO until that fifth set.) Maybe on grass, a surface Murray is more comfortable on, is where he can do it.

Not great, and they now only give him 16/1 on defending it next year too. (this far out).
Novak was about 1/6 on in the Final itself this year.
But on Wimbledon, a lot will depend on the Draw again - Djoker will not want Murray in his half.

and I agree that. Even with disappointing loss in French Final, let's not forget, he is defending Wimbledon champion, World #1 having overall results almost as good as his previous best year. Stanimal don't play that well on grass as that of slow surfaces. He just decimated Nadal in straights on his home turf. He owns Murray's game, mind and everything with 8 match winning streak including wins in last 3 GS tournaments. Federer is old but still I give him better chance to beat Djokovic on grass this season with his improvements in ground game with RF 97 but still I can't put him favorite. Rest of the field including Dimitrovs, Raonics, Socks, you know sucks. Young guns aren't matured enough to tackle challenge of World's best. Even with Final loss, nothing special has been changed.

Of course he is. He's still the man to beat at every tournament he enters. But interestingly though, nobody except Fed and Pete has successfully defended their Wimbledon crown since Becker did it in 1986.

Nadal beat Rosol last year at Wimbledon, in 4 sets, so he'll be confident.
And I don't like Darcis/Kyrgios' chances of repeating their dynamite day at the office.
But I know why you said it, because they all beat Nadal at Wimbledon in the past.
But I personally think that reduces the chances of them beating him this year, because he's alert to them.

Its the best time to play Djokovic.
That Roland Garros is probably the worst experience of Djokovic's career.
Finally got over the hurdle of Nadal only to be beaten by Wawrinka.
That's similar to if Federer had lost 2009 Roland Garros (but Djokovic's case is even worse, because he beat Nadal).
