Coria should fire his coach? *Possible spoiler*

I think Coria should fire his spanish coach Perlas.
Since he's working with him he's going downlslope. He's serves at 130 km/h. He makes no less tha 10 double faults per match. His groundstrokes are coming short. He's slower than what he used to be.
What do you think?

yes i think he should. he hired perlas to improve his game, to be more

agressive and with a better and bigger serve. he gained some kilos of weight and for that he i slower
not only he has not improved his serve but now he serves worse than before

worst serve i have seen ever.
he has lost the solidity, consistency and fire in his game now he makes a tons of more unforced errors, and plays pretty short.

the only thing he improved are his volleys

Coria changed his serve action after surgery.

He'll be back in time for decent clay court season results.

Can we get a big 23 double faults from Coria today against the frenchman?

...I was watching...it seemed more like 50. He always double faulted when the point was an important one...like at break point on his serve. He has no confidence in his serve whatsoever.

Pointless!! The problem not from the coach that appear from himself.
I think he is lack of confidence in every match. i never see this come from other players...seems like an amateur playing and lost the way. he should to elude from atp tour first, take some times in 'challengers' to repair his serve

Maybe Perlas sould fire Coria for serving like a little twit.

OR maybe Perlas can help Coria with this problem. Who knows?

Coria is so talented. Seems hard to coach.
Would have trouble finding another elite level tour coach willing to accept that challenge (and risk).

Who knows, Perlas might just be the best guy for him.

Anyway, I just think people are too quick to OFF the coach.
Did I just use OFF as a verb?

Maybe firing Perlas could change his technique and then the speed would increase... I really don't know. But I have a feeling a lot of his serving problems are in his head.

Gotta agree with croatian sensation.

You seem to forgot how earlier on 2005 you were surprised on how he improved his serve, especially between February and April. He was double faulting almost once or twice per match, and averaging 105/112 mph on his first serve, including a couple of 125 mph serves per match.

As cro_sen already said it, the problem it's probably in his head.

I can't stand the guy. he has the maturity of a 6 year old. Always quarrelling and complaining (and some of the ugliest outfits on tour!).

Perhaps it al started after loosing the RG final. It must be hard loosing a final after having match point. Maybe that broke his head.

lately, Coria serving has inspired all the confidence of Shaq shooting free-throws.

Surely sheer embarassment from being labeled the "Dementieva of the men's tour" would cause him to improve?
