This thread was created when Jo beat Fed in Wimbledon.
Just sayin'.
Also, this doesn't hurt as bad as that US open 4 match point semi loss to Novak. I hope the stars align for Jo, or Daveed, or Stanly...hell, even Haasi.
Nah not depressed, pretty happy actually. Guaranteed new RG finalist which is kinda exciting.
Not if ferrer gets there. It will be a closely fought beatdown.Nah not depressed, pretty happy actually. Guaranteed new RG finalist which is kinda exciting.

This sums up how I feel.
You could see it coming, but you just didn’t want to believe it. Fed will do better at Wimbledon.
I'm saddened more by the way he lost than the loss in general. Hid play was sloppy and uninspired. He just seemed like he didn't want to be out there after giving the break back to Jo in the first set. I'm happy it was to a player I like and not some unknown.
A loss at Roland Garros hurts, but Wimbledon isn't that far away. Hopefully Roger raises his level for the grass season.
This one is better:
That is a good one! All to honor the one and only blue-clay champion!
*nods*
What a win it was!
I hope Roger uses Haas for inspiration. As long as he doesn't lose motivation I think we will see some great victories yet. Today was tough though, had he won I think he would've been in the final.
I've watched the reply of that final countless times! What a dream 2012 was!
As a Fed fan...
Cut the crap. So many pretenders these days...

You filling in for zagor?
Both Roger and Murray are in incredibly good positions to win Wimbledon this year, one tanked in preparation for it and the other feigned injury in order to practice sooner on the surface.

Wow, this is some grand trolling here.
Fed in another Wimby final?
IDK mang, he's looking mighty tired of tennis....
Yeh, that was a pretty amazing year for us as fans. He had a stretch of dominance which culminated in another major... I'm STILL amazed that he managed to regain the no.1 position for some time. All in all, it was a great year.
How on earth is there such a thing as a depressed Fed fan? The guy has won 17 slams and holds countless records that may never be broken. He's still playing, and I hope he wins Wimby and makes some noise in the second part of the season.

I guess because with every defeat we fear that the end is near for him. If the defeats come earlier and earlier, one of them may actually send him into retirement. We don't want to see this man go!

A loss for Fed is a loss for tennis. Once Fed retires, half of fans will probably tune out. I can't imagine the sport being half as interesting without him and he's become a lot less relevant this year and so has the sport.
More than anything I think that people are depressed about the future of tennis.
