3 months. Ugh. Positive is thats only like 3-4 weeks past what most TE sufferers have to wait out. Its also going to be brutally hot so at least you can focus on fitness in a few weeks and see what they let you do.
Thanks for that starbucks tip. Been abusing that one lately.
Yeah why have we just discovered this? Its so cool to see exactly what you used with the date.
Jackb1 is so far the king of sticks by a margin of 4x over. I'm trying to think who can top that.
PP, Now that you've got me thinking...Gads is forever a villian in my book!
If not for him, i wouldn't have the BC20s, Storms, or TF 315 + MANY, MANY more sticks in my bag!

I went through this phase where I was only using old schools. I went deep into myself like some kind of soul tennis David Lynch kevlar therapy. It was incredibly purifying and cleansing. The best thing to do really is read Plasma 's old posts. Man on fire.
Pic doesn't work. Try again. I gotta see an image for king of sticks.
I think its the card, which is awesome. I tried to link it too..same error.
Oh well.
The Avatar rules. Nicely done.
Klem, how does the 002 Tour compare to these newer Yonexes? Up, down, mere paintjobs?50-65 seems to be the norm for YYs, every one I've hit/owned has had the same.
I got the 'itch' big time for the TourG. Especially since I hit (again) an acquaintance's RDS002Ts Tuesday night. Battered and strung 100s of times, they felt awesome and I immediately thought of DelPo. But I digress.
Good thing TT can get me my 75/100 back. Might just have a TourG by Friday.
RossK is alive and well btw. I actually shot him an email.
He's just busy with life and work - no tennis time.
JGads and MadDog, How do you feel the BC20 ages? With that horticultural layup, I would fear that these would flex out faster than graphite sticks. Also, does the recent Vantage/Angell divorce - creator of Bastcore now no longer involved in production of Bastcore - make you uneasy about future availability of these sticks?

Damn "technology."I haven't hit anything in Yonexeses line-up that reminds me of the 002T's as of yet, although the descriptions of the TourG seem to be fitting nicely.
Will have to wait until I get back from the trip and investigate this matter further. They kept putting in that x-fullerene and 3d vector shafts, ruined most of the line-up imo.
Thanks MadDog. Good to know the bast is holding up under stress.corners, i've had my bc20s for almost 3 years and they've been used quite heavily. tbh, i think they feel the same as they did when i first got them. always have been super predictable from the baseline and still are. bummer paul angell is no longer involved with the BCs, but not too worried if and when these frames give ghost because the TC95/VT221s would be my next go to. love both the BC20s and TC95/VT221s!
Hey Gads, thanks, I think I will take you up on that, probably mid-May if that's convenient for you. Will email you about the details. Thanks!Every time I hit it it feels like the old, worn baseball glove that I remember and love. Where the vantage divorce bums me out is that I think a simple update to this particular frame could make it into perfection, but I'm assuming there will be no update now. If I were the Vantage Angel(l) myself, all I would do for an update is make the thing slightly firmer to cure the two areas where the 'recoil' effect backfires a bit -- volleys, where the frame catches the ball a bit too much rather than simply blocking it, which can lead to lame duck volleys instead of simple firm put-aways; and serves, where a bit more firmness would help the consistency on flat heaters.
That being said, still one of the all-timers in my book and a stick the TT community would have gone nutso for, had it made it to TW and wider availability.
That old offer still stands, btw.

Funny you say that. I just had some of those last week at my local fresh fish restaurant.
And yes they are amazing. The girl I took there - well, that's a different story.
Two words, boys.
Fish tacos.
Ha!
Waiter at my local spot several months back changed my life when he suggested that in addition to the tartar sauce, I request a side of their Cajun seasoning to go along with it. Nothing has been the same since.
And yesterday, I dominated.
Delighted to still be able to make such valuable contributions to the thread.
Today I walked directly past a tennis court for the first time since surgery. It was so clean, the net tape crisp and white like the day. Nobody was playing. I drooled a little and walked on.
Rehab begins tomorrow.
If any of you holics have spare change please go to the link in my signature. We spend a lot on sticks, so this may be a good thread to post this in
