Haha, no.Stan probably had the highest peak of anyone not named Federer
Haha, no.
Exactly. Stan has a super high peak but there's other players besides Roger who no question have a higher peak level than him. Namely, Rafa and Novak. Arguably Delpo and Murray as well and that's only counting the current generation.Stan's GS wins are as good as any in history, brah.

Nadal has a higher peak on HC, clay, and grass. Djokovic has a higher peak on at least HC and grass. In no world does Wawrinka have a higher peak than either one of them, so stop playing. Murray "arguably" had a higher peak in his 2012-2013 period and 2016 period, his style may not be as flashy as Wawrinka's is but it's arguably been more effective at it's best. Del Potro has caught fire a number of times and has been more effective against Nadal, Djokovic, Federer than Wawrinka has. The Del Potro - Wawrinka h2h is 4-3 in favour of Del Potro despite Wawrinka having more slams. There's lots of evidence to at least say "arguably."Stan beat peak Nadal and peak Djokovic (on his favorite surface) in the same tournament. Nadal has higher peak on clay. Delpo was probably pretty close for a hot minute. Murray lol stop playin'.

Well, you can disagree... but offensive, attacking players are only able to BE offensive when they are dictating the points. When Nadal and Djokovic are at their best, they do not let offensive players like Stan dictate the majority of the points. That is why in 2014, Stan was able to beat both of them, Djokovic was underperforming, and Nadal was dreadful in the first set hitting every one of his shots short right into Wawrinka's hitting zone. The truth is that peak for peak, Wawrinka does not stand up to either of them, except "maybe" Djokovic.Disagree. Defense only guys like Nadal, Djokovic, and Murray are great at defense, but still got blown off the court when Stan was peaking.

Edit: I consider this match his best match at the AO. Amazing, but Djokovic still won.
Gotta read previous replieswho is comparing wawrinka with djokovic and nadal?
Must not have been born to see Borg, Mac or Pete decimate their respective fields. Stan isn't even in the discussion.Stan's GS wins are as good as any in history, brah.
