Dunlop max 200g

I played with a dunlop max 200g last week. It has a low power level and was strung around 22 kg. In comparison to my pro staff classic which is stung at 26 kg. To my surprise i couldn't notice any power differences except the max 200 g is more arm friendly. The control between the pro staff classic and 200g was about the same.
Does this mean that with lowering the tension you can get just a much power and control as a more powerful racket with a high tension?

Well you definitely get more power from using a lower tension, but the control you're experiencing with the Max 200G comes from the higher flex of the racquet as compared to the ProStaff.

The dunlop max 200g has a flex rating of 40 and the pro staff classic has a rating of 72.
Or do you mean something else with the higer flex of the racket?

Something else to consider when you're talking about the control potential of low tensions is that you require less effort to generate the same amount of power. A lower tension can allow you to slow your swing which can enable you to have more control over your shot. Still requires good technique (probably better technique than with a tightly strung frame) but can be a very good option especially for the older player or someone who has experienced arm/shoulder/wrist problems.
