Hate to bump this back up buys, but look at the string patterns and similarities of the frame...

^^^ Damn! Yep, same one. So much for everyone on here (the "experts") knowing that these racquets were "special" for Fed only. lol

Mahut and Gulbis are using H22, open pattern. I have a pair of Mahut's racquets in current 6 1 95 paint. He uses a 4 1/2 grip. Someone had one of Gulbis' in Steam paint, once again, h22 open pattern.

Not sure about Fed's test stick but it does have that same weird drill pattern that the h22 open pattern does with the variation in the width of the drill pattern on the mains..

Please post pics. I'm sure everyone would like to see some up close details. Thanks.

Even Federer playing with a HEAD copy? Wow...the masses would be shocked.
I wonder if Fed did go to H22 will Wilson release a more HEAD prestige like frame (even more so then the Blade).

I honestly tend to think he is using the H22 or H19 with a 16x19. That is Wilson's copy of the HEAD Prestige and they don't sell it to the public.

do you know if the H19/H22 are 98" or 95"?

i have it on reasonably strong authority that the fed frame is 95" not 98"

they are 98's. they are based off the most of the head frames... one could speculate they are 96/97" but to make things easier 98".

At the ball change during the 1st set of the semi, Gulbis sent one racquet to the stringer asking for a tension of... 31/30kg.

The commentator of german Eurosport said that Gulbis would play 30/29kg and Novak with 28/27kg.
Well the commentator(s) of French Eurosport said that Gulbis at the ball change asked for 31/30. Now what do you mean by "would ask"? What he usually uses, or what he asked for during the match?

I never said, that you might be wrong,
I just repeated what the commentator said before the match started.
In each case, that's a lot of tension by using AluPower

He went tighter because it's a lot warmer here in Paris today. 31/30 is what he asked for, so that's what I did.

Exactly why I asked if it was right now or in general. And it's indeed hot today in Paris. :)

Is it just me, or does the string spacing at the bottom of the crosses seem a little moreso than on most racquets?
