Federer is Done!!

This is really a retaliation thread for the "Nadal is done" thread. I don't really think federer is done....but how does it feel Fed fans?

David Slays Goliath
David Nalbandian upset Roger Federer in three sets to win the Madrid Masters and pull off one of the season's most improbable title runs. The Argentine had been in a slump this year but beat the world's top three players back-to-back and brought his head-to-head record against Federer to 7-8. After losing the first set, Nalbandian played solidly and took advantage of Federer's increasing inconsistency

2008 is the big year for fed, chance to emulate 14 grand slams, try to win the french again, olympic gold, maybe do the golden slam?

Has Nadal gone to a larger frame yet??

Don't be a moron....is there anyone on the tour who uses a frame larger than 100 inches?

On the other hand I think fed would improve by increasing to 93-95. especially as he gets older. Pete Sampras switched to a 95 inch racquet (or was it 90....someone help me out).

People were saying Nadal is done because of injuries that aren't healing, not because he lost, so you're point here is just stupid and a waste of time.

How can you be so sure?

I'm using your formula. Wasn't it you, and every other Nadal troll that said Fed needed to switch to a larger frame in order to keep winning? Wouldn't that same formula apply to Nadal and every other player on tour?

Come on, give me a break. Fed had been playing incredibly during the week, perhaps a match against Nadal or Doko would have been a real measure of his actual performance, but honestly, i believe he played much better than in the US Open. Just happens that David know how to beat him. But he still has 2 or 3 years of good tennis.

No.

Federer has problems on clay against Nadals high bouncing shots to his backhand. Therefore Fed needs to do something different to add some power there. A larger head will help....but then again Rogers head is so big already I don't think it could possibly get any bigger.

Exactly. It's the big and unpredictable bounce that is hard for Federer to time. Not just on his backhand but his forehand as well. On other surfaces it is easier for him to not hit rim as the bounce is not as much. Therefore less chance of hitting rim or losing power.

I wish this was the case! Fed is getting right on my last nerves! I'd love Nadal or others to smack him up now and then....well if u consider his losses this year to last you can see he's not playing as well...but i mean comon not playing well and winning 3 slams and being miles above the rest...he aint gone yet...unfortunatly! C'mon Rafaaaa bring down this Fed-Era! Its soo dull!

Federer is far from done and by the same token Nadal is far from done . This thread was only in answer to the Nadal is done thread.

The amount of hatred towards nadal is unbelievable....and quite frankly I don't understand it. Whats even more odd is that the administrators of this board absolutley hate Nadal and persecute Nadal fans.

The "Nadal is done thread" is clearly a troll thread but it is allowed to remain on this board week after week protected by the administrators. The only reason the "federer is done" thread exists is because if they erased it then they would be blatantly biased.....on the other hand thats never stopped the administrators before.

Nadal shanks as much, if not more than Fed, and that's a fact. So again I ask, shouldn't he switch to a larger frame?

Just cuz fed loses a few matches which is low compared to his 100+ wins:4 losses a year standard doesn't mean its the end of his career. He's gonna contiure to establish his dominance.

Why was this post moved to odds and ends while the Nadal is done thread is allowed to stay in General pro player discussion?
