Federer should win SI sportsman of the year

How can Federer not win SI sportsman of the year?I never thought he would come back and have the season he had.No better year for them to give it to him.Last tennis winner was Arthur Ashe for his humanitarian contributions, something Federer also does.Last foreign winner was Johann Olav Koss for speed skating.

He's never got a cover, so it would be odd for him to get one for the biggest cover of the year. And for playing a a sport that no one watches/plays anymore. To bad he didn't play in the 70s, he'd get on the cover a lot.
