Hello all, this past weekend I saw that the Solinco Tour Bite Diamond Rough 16 was now available on the TW website. If anyone could provide their feedback or experiences with these strings that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My current fav strings are Solinco Tour Bite 17 and Genesis Typhoon 16L. Wondering how it would fare/compare against them?

Hmmmm. Never tried it before. If I see some positive feedback here I might just give it a try.

I strung it up with NG mains and I'm digging it. It performs similar to ALU Rough as a cross with better tension maintenance.

Thank you for the responses, sounds like atleast a try. Did you all use 17G or 16G? and also anyone try it in full bed? Thanks

It's great fullbed. I believe I hit 17 guage.

I only hit with it a couple of times, so I can't comment on how well it holds up.

To me, it felt like TB only with more pop and feel. I think most people will either love it or hate it.

I ordered another racquet and was going to get it strung with TB Diamond Rough but I was afraid I wouldn't like it. What are the main differences? If I string TB at 50 should I string TB Diamond Rough at 55?

I'd string it an lb or 2 higher. No need for a 5 pound change.

Ok, just trying to get a feel for the difference in liveliness/power before I do end up stringing it. I doubt I'll ever stray for Tour Bite though. Such an awesome string.

I like low tension. I play TB 17 at 42 in a PDR+. I wouldn't go up a lot with DR, maybe 45. The thing is, if you are at 55 you might be in an area where the string behaves a lot differently, but I can't say for sure.
